Hi,
This is a morning meditation to greet the day.
Either sitting or lying comfortably,
I invite you to take nice deep breaths.
With each breath,
Feeling yourself begin to land a little bit more into your body,
Into the day,
Into the present moment.
This is a transitional time between sleeping and waking.
I invite you to send gratitude to your dream self for whatever he,
She,
They were working through in the night.
And continuing to feel yourself integrating,
Continuing to land more deeply into the here and now.
Allowing every cell in your body to shift into wakefulness.
Perhaps feeling them shiver a little with delight at being able to begin anew.
Feeling that wakefulness spread into your bones,
Your muscles,
Your lymph tissues,
Into every organ,
Into your bloodstream,
Lighting up your skin.
And now sensing,
Feeling,
Imagining yourself in a field of shimmering yellow flowers with gold light showering down on you.
Turning your face to the sun,
Allowing its rays to dissolve any residue of past energy that doesn't serve you.
That you might be holding onto from the night,
The previous day,
The past.
And as that old energy dissolves and begins to seep out of your body,
Out of your energy field,
Feeling yourself becoming a blank slate for this new day.
Feeling into the possibility that every minute unfolding before you is a gift.
And you get to choose what you do with it.
And begin to feel into an intention you have for this gift.
Maybe a quality you want to bring in.
Maybe something you'd like to let go of before you step fully into the day.
Might be an intention.
And you can name out loud or in your head what that is.
Now imagining that you're gathering this intention in your hands and then sending it up into the light where it refracts into thousands of bright sparkles.
Sending the message into the universe.
Now I invite you to take a few breaths to anchor this vision,
This intention.
And with the next few breaths,
Begin to feel yourself begin to land more deeply into the room,
Into the present moment.
Moving from mindfulness to present action or whatever is awaiting you next.
When you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes and greet the day in whatever way feels right to you.
