This is Jenny Braav of Radiant Wholeness Healing,
And this is a guided meditation for anyone dealing with a chronic health condition.
I'm recording this during a flare-up of my connective tissue disorder,
Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome,
In the hopes that what brings me some relief might bring some to you as well.
I'm finding a comfortable position to whatever extent that's accessible right now.
I know it can be hard to find when there are chronic issues.
And gently closing your eyes,
Taking nice,
Slow breaths.
On an inhale,
Inviting in a sense of ease and relaxation.
Again,
To whatever extent that's accessible in this moment.
And on an exhale,
Inviting anything that's ready to release,
Any tension,
Pain,
Stuck emotions.
With each breath,
Allowing yourself to drop in a little more into the present moment,
Into your body,
Sending compassion to any part of you that might not want to be in a body right now.
And gently bringing those parts back in or inviting them to do so gently without pressuring them.
And knowing that a distressed body becomes even more so when we dissociate,
When they feel abandoned by the part of us that's present or conscious.
And so just inviting yourself to be here right now in your body to whatever extent feels okay.
And as you continue to gently slow your breath,
Imagine a warm,
Golden light surrounding your body.
This is an energy of healing,
Of love,
And visualizing it entering through the top of your head and flowing to your heart.
And as it does,
It lovingly surrounds any emotions that have gotten activated by your chronic condition,
Whether those are present in this precise moment or not.
And feeling the energy's soft,
Loving tendrils,
Gently holding and perhaps even caressing any fear,
Anger,
Overwhelm,
Shock,
Loneliness,
Hopelessness,
Anxiety,
Depression,
And any other emotion that is present with compassion,
Holding the emotions with acceptance,
Understanding,
And starting to feel into the possibility that you are not alone in this,
That you are held and supported even when it doesn't feel like it.
And spending a few breaths feeling this loving presence surrounding the emotions that are or have been present.
Now,
Bring your awareness to the areas of your body that are most affected by your chronic health condition.
Notice any sensations or discomfort that may arise.
And instead of resisting or fighting against these sensations,
To whatever extent you can,
Allow yourself to acknowledge them with compassion,
With acceptance,
Inviting the light to bring soothing and comfort,
Reassurance to these areas that are in distress and pain,
Inflamed,
Weakened,
And imagining that with each breath you take,
The healing light within you grows brighter and stronger,
Starting to spread through your whole body and flowing through your entire skeletal system,
Starting at the cranial bones,
The vertebrae of your neck,
Your shoulders,
Down your arm and finger bones,
Surrounding each rib and your rib cage,
Down every vertebra of your spine,
Your pelvic bones,
Leg bones,
All the way down to the bones of your feet,
Healing and releasing any stuck energy,
Any pain,
Any distress,
Both soothing and strengthening the bones,
And feeling this healing light seeping deep into the bone marrow,
Enlivening and strengthening the immune cells,
Your immune response,
And feeling the light spreading into your muscles,
Releasing any tension,
Pain,
Weakness,
Distress,
Both loosening and strengthening at the same time,
Spreading into the ligaments and tendons,
Healing any inflammation and distress,
Any areas that are overly loose,
Overly tight,
Spasming,
Inflamed,
Then radiating into your lymph,
Into your tissues,
And spreading into the entire vascular system,
Releasing any old,
Stagnant energy,
Your own and or ancestral from your bloodstream,
Soothing and strengthening your veins and arteries,
Now sensing,
Feeling,
Imagining the golden light spreading into every organ,
Starting with your brain,
Clearing any brain fog,
Fight or flight activation,
Soothing the neural pathways,
And then feeling the light spreading through your larynx and throat into your lungs and heart,
Soothing,
Releasing,
Healing,
And strengthening,
And then down into all of the digestive organs,
Your liver,
Spleen,
Stomach,
Gallbladder,
Small and large intestine,
Your kidneys and adrenals,
Releasing,
Healing,
Soothing,
And strengthening,
Enlivening,
Bringing all your organs,
All of your systems into balance,
Resetting into current time,
And down into your reproductive organs,
Releasing stagnant,
Distressed energy,
Taking nice,
Slow breaths,
Allowing the light to spend extra time in any area that is particularly affected,
And feeling the healing light soothing and resetting your whole nervous system,
All the way down to any agitated,
Activated nerve endings,
Bringing your parasympathetic nervous system back in line,
Spreading into every cell of your body,
Lighting up your skin,
And then radiating all around you,
Creating a nice,
Protective bubble of golden light,
Strengthening,
Enlivening your energy field all around you,
Feeling how this is your sanctified energetic space.
You get to choose what you let in,
What you let out,
And feeling yourself held,
Supported by this golden light,
That is both yours and also filled with source energy.
Again,
Tapping into the possibility that you are not alone,
That you're guided,
That you are not being punished,
But rather supported into greater healing,
Into greater connection.
And now bringing your attention back to your breath,
Taking a moment to appreciate the life-giving force that sustains you with each inhale,
Imagining that you're breathing in fresh energy and vitality,
And with each exhale,
Continuing to release any tension or negativity that may be weighing you down.
As we come to the end of this guided meditation,
Maybe tapping into some gratitude for your body,
Every system,
Every part of it,
And how hard it works for you day in,
Day out,
And also acknowledging the strength and resilience within you,
Knowing what it takes to navigate the challenges of your chronic condition,
Feeling that sense of acknowledgement and gratitude,
And validation spreading throughout your whole body,
Dissolving any stuck old dark energies,
Filling them with light,
With a sense of trust,
Of surrender to what is.
And when you're ready,
Gently opening your eyes and taking a few moments to reorient yourself to your surroundings,
Perhaps setting the intention to carry this sense of support and healing with you as you continue on your journey towards the greatest wellbeing that is possible.
