Hi,
This is Jenny Braav of Radiant Wholeness Healing and this is a meditation for when you are on a threshold between an old version of yourself or your life and a new version that you are birthing.
It might also be a pattern or something in your life such as a job or a relationship that you are getting ready to let go of.
I invite you to take nice,
Slow,
Deep breaths.
With each in-breath,
Inviting in a sense of ease and relaxation.
And with each out-breath,
Inviting anything that's ready to release.
Any tension,
Unwanted thoughts,
Stuck emotions.
With each breath,
Feeling yourself dropping in more deeply into the moment,
Into your body.
Imagining that there's a dial in your head connecting you to your cognitive brain and turning that dial as far down as feels comfortable.
To begin to relax,
Sense,
Feel,
Or imagine that you're in the middle of a field with a threshold just in front of you,
Leading to the version of you or your life that you're on the cusp of.
And now turning 180 degrees so you're facing the pattern or aspect of you,
Of your life,
That you're getting ready to shed.
If you gave this era,
This pattern a name,
Like it's the title of a book chapter,
What might it be?
What qualities does this era represent?
For example,
It might be small,
Contracted,
Angry,
Fear-based,
Lonely.
What were you believing about yourself or the world,
For this era,
This version of you?
What did it help you learn,
Help you heal?
In your head or out loud,
Express gratitude to this era.
It served an important purpose and enabled you to be where you are now.
Now I invite you to gently sit down in the grass,
Anything you no longer need.
This can be an emotion,
A belief,
A habit,
Such as staying small or needing to control things.
And again,
Thank it for how it has tried to help you and let it know it's no longer needed.
And then feeling the energy of the sun and maybe also playful wind,
Cleansing you of any residual cords still attaching you to these wounds,
Patterns,
Beliefs.
Now turn 180 so you are facing the threshold.
You can look at the other side from where you are,
Not needing to cross it now or until you're ready.
And if you were to give this new era you're on the cusp of a name,
What would that be?
What qualities does this era or this version of you present?
And you can spend as much time as you want or need here,
Just looking at the other side.
There's no rush.
You can stop the meditation here if you wish and keep doing the first part until you feel ready to cross it.
Trust your knowing as to what pacing is right for you.
And if you feel ready,
Cross the threshold,
Taking all the time you need.
Notice what the crossing feels like in your body,
What being on the other side feels like in your body,
What emotions are present.
And if there is a new belief that you're stepping into,
Now that you've shed some of the old ones,
What might that be?
If you feel ready,
Take a few steps here.
Notice if the language changes,
Notice if the landscape changes at all,
Any colors,
Plants,
Animals.
Just noticing,
Not trying to make anything happen.
And ask this new era if it has any message or transmission for you.
Gathering up anything you've received,
Felt,
Experienced here,
Any new beliefs,
Any new emotions,
Qualities,
Insight,
Dropping it into your crown,
Letting it spread through your neural pathways,
Into your nervous system,
Into your heart,
Anchoring into every cell in your body.
And when you're ready,
Slowly opening your eyes,
Coming back into your space.
