Namaste and welcome.
Today we'll do a practice on the power of positive thinking.
Now remember,
Where your attention goes is where your energy flows.
Wherever your energy flows,
It grows.
Your thoughts are creating your destiny.
So what is the quality of your thoughts?
Train your mind to see good in everything.
Quality is a choice,
Because your well-being depends on your quality of thoughts.
Now for the next 10 minutes or so,
Set aside all distractions.
This is your most valuable time that you have taken to be exclusively with yourself.
So make sure there won't be any distractions of any kind.
Find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down,
Where you're relaxed yet alert.
Go ahead and relax the jaws,
Ease the face,
Drop the shoulders,
Soften the belly and relax your entire body.
As you bring your attention to your breath,
Go ahead and gently let your eyes drift close and notice the air going in and out of your body.
Breathe a little bit more deep into the belly,
Slowly releasing that along with any tension in your body.
Are your hands and your feet and your stomach relaxed?
Breathe in and out gently.
You have all the time in the world and now take a look at your thoughts and calm them down by concentrating on a few simple positive ideas about yourself.
See yourself in a positive way,
In a new way,
As if today you see yourself for the first time.
When you look at yourself in this new way,
You see yourself in your original form without the stress or resistance,
Detached yet fully involved.
Recognize the energy of your own thinking and realize its power and potential.
Everything that you think about yourself,
You will experience.
You will bring it into practice and so you shall become.
You are what you think.
It is important that your ideas about yourself are crystal clear and positive because in this way you are creating your new personality.
So what are these thoughts about yourself that you hold?
Clarify them for yourself.
Look at yourself and see inner peace,
An inner silence which is natural.
See a balance,
An inner strength at the core of your being.
Inner peace,
Natural inner silence,
Balance and strength.
Whatever you choose to think about,
Your mind will follow.
You choose the subject and that's where your thoughts will go.
And if you repeat this long enough,
They become a pattern.
Think of yourself in a new way,
A positive way and watch that positive pattern develop and become natural.
See yourself as a tranquil being,
Very quiet and relaxed.
You are the one who decides what will happen next in your life.
From this inner deep calmness,
Take a decision on something that is important to you in your life.
You have found a new strength and a new direction.
Anytime you feel things are getting out of hand and you're feeling a sense of panic,
Come back to this practice of creating positive,
Slow,
Intentional thoughts.
A state of peace is your original personality.
You can calm down.
You have a natural quietness within your being.
That peace that you're looking for is within yourself.
You just have to concentrate and connect and you will feel that peace.
You become very quiet.
The greatest chaos in the mind can be calmed down by repeating these thoughts.
I am peace,
I am balanced,
I am silent,
Peace,
Balanced,
Silence.
Now drop the practice and savor the sweet stillness of this present moment.
Now please bring your palms together in prayer position at your heart center and go ahead and rub your palms.
And when you feel a nice warm ball of energy weld up between your palms,
Go ahead and cup your eyes,
One with each palm,
And bless yourself.
I am at peace,
I am balanced,
And I am silent.
All is well.
All will be well.
