I'm Jason McGryce.

I'm a teacher here on Insight Timer and today's daily insight brings a meditation for connecting to the Earth Mother,

Gaia.

In these times where the world is being stretched to its limits,

It's a beautiful practice to call in the Earth Mother to ground with her and to let her feel your support.

Throughout this process,

Come on a visual journey as we send unconditional love to all of the corners of the globe in this deeply healing meditation.

Relaxing into your sacred meditation space today.

Taking a few deep breaths into your body.

We want to start to activate the energy within your cells and we use the breath to call them into a higher vibrancy.

Start by breathing in through your nose,

Taking a breath right down into the belly and with an open mouth and a big sigh,

Letting it all out.

Again,

In through the nose,

Purposefully drawing in the breath,

Taking it right down into your belly and with an open mouth on the exhale,

Sighing it all out.

One last time,

In through the nose,

Down into the belly and with an open mouth,

Sighing it all out.

Feel yourselves awakening to the life force around you,

Vibrating and being enlivened throughout this process.

Our intention for this healing meditation is to send nurturing energy to the earth for all of the beauty and sustenance she provides us with each day.

Place the palms of your hands or the soles of your feet down toward the ground.

Feel the radiance of the earth beneath you.

Gaya is there.

She is always with you.

Our earth mother has been giving to her children her whole life.

Giving,

Giving,

Giving and it is time for us to lovingly give back.

We call forward the sacred energy of Gaya to join us in this moment.

Take a deep breath and repeat after me.

Divine Mother Gaya,

Please connect to me in this safe and sacred space.

Through your third eye comes forth a rolling emerald mist and a vision of a woman with the kindest,

Most nurturing eyes that you have ever seen.

Your heart opens at the very sight.

She embraces you,

Placing her left hand upon your heart and her right hand in yours.

She looks deep into your eyes and sees you.

Beyond any veil of illusion,

She sees you,

Your essence,

Your nature.

Like two mirrors held in each other's gaze,

You see yourself in her.

A tear weeps from her eye as unconditional love streams between you both.

There is an unspoken knowing here and she is most grateful that you are here today.

She leans in and whispers words of gratitude for trusting yourself and being present in this moment.

Gaya moves her hands to your feet and guides you to ground your energy into her root.

You intuitively guide yourself to start channeling breath from the trees to the air around you.

You harness this energy and consciously direct it into the crown of your head.

In the vortex of divine wisdom and universal connection,

You direct this breath down your body,

Infusing it with the spirit of each one of your energy centers.

So to further awaken throughout this healing process,

This pure life force penetrates your field of inner and outer vision upon your brow.

A wave of energy spreads into your focal point of communication and self-expression.

Gathering truth and honesty,

It unfolds into your heart space,

Infusing with nurture,

Self-love and compassion.

It unfurls and enters your realm of personal power and integrity.

Rays of light beam into your wheel of creativity and emotion.

Sexuality and sensuality awaken as your breath dives deep and awakens into your energy center of foundations,

Physical identity.

And all of these energies merge as these seven chakras connect into one divine stream of energy,

Grounding down out through your legs and feet into the earth.

This divine stream of loving energy washes over the earth mother's hands like crystal clear water,

Nourishing her as it flows down through her roots and into the earth beneath,

Passing through grass,

Dirt,

Sand,

Rock,

Bone.

It heals,

Infuses,

It transfers wisdom and dives deeper,

Collecting information and vibrational essences from minerals and crystals locked within the earth's crust.

Layer upon layer,

The energy flows into the very center of our home,

Integrating with the earth's core.

A surge of energy rolls up your spine and is released into the ethers.

A weight is lifted from your shoulders.

You pause within this deeply grounded connection.

The energy of the earth mother feels like that of an underground cave.

It is warm but cool at the same time.

It feels solid,

Secure,

As if you are sheltered from everything but connected to everything.

A connection where you feel so completely safe and held.

Be with her.

Rolling waves of heart-centered energy unfold from your aura.

This energy washes over the nature surrounding you.

Every single earthling,

Every single plant,

Tree,

Down to the tiny blades of grass.

They are all touched by this energy as it spreads through your street.

Each breath inward feels the change in vibration as the trees breathe out a sigh of gratitude.

From street to street,

From yard to park,

These waves of appreciation for the earth mother spread through your suburb.

This intensely nurturing energy infuses support to the very foundation in which you walk.

The ecosphere within the soil breathes with you.

The more hearts that are touched,

The stronger the flow.

The energy spreads in a seismic manner across towns,

Fields,

Hills,

Mountains,

Estuaries,

Rivers and lakes.

Your brow chakra envisions the spread from a satellite's view.

Pulse after pulse,

The energy reaches the shoreline at the edge of your continent.

The birds,

The insects,

The mammals,

The amphibians and reptiles all rejoice in this gift and they too ground this energy and on flow its divine message.

Through gulfs to seas and open ocean,

The fields of seaweeds,

Algaes and coral.

From the largest of fins to the smallest of plankton,

Each life is meaningful as the next.

This energy dives to greet the darkest of depths where no sunlight is found.

We give thanks to the species that have never been seen by the human eye.

We thank them for their role in the balancing of earth.

From the oceans,

The energy rises up with the seabeds to lap upon the shores of all of the other continents.

From the most populated of cities to barren deserts to the richest most biodiverse forests and jungles,

All the way to the glistening of light off of the glaciers.

This pure unconditional love envelops the globe like two outstretched arms.

Hold and be held.

Race,

Colour,

Belief,

Species,

Size,

Shape.

We say thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

We send heartfelt gratitude to the earth mother and all of her children.

And as their vibration and consciousness rises,

That same divine consciousness shines into your breath.

The entire wonderment of the world's gifts fill your lungs and you feel into the nuances of oxygenation as the breath is delivered to all of the corners of your body.

Breathe life in and breathe life out.
