Transcript

I'll invite you to begin by closing your eyes and inviting your awareness to move inward.

Allowing everything else to drop away for just a few moments here.

And together let's take three deep breaths to really ground ourselves in this present moment.

Knowing that the past is behind us,

Knowing that the future is not here yet,

We can simply focus on being here right now.

Relaxing your facial muscles,

Allowing your shoulders to drop down,

Resting your palms on your thighs,

And then on your next inhale allowing your belly to completely fill up,

Inviting in expansion,

Awareness,

Presence,

And then allowing that breath to leave through your mouth with a big sigh or a big sound,

Whatever will serve you best.

When you've fully emptied then begin again breathing in,

Inviting in presence,

Expansion,

Filling your belly up,

And then as you sigh,

As you breathe out through your mouth,

Letting your shoulders drop down,

Allowing your body to soften,

Just getting grounded in this space.

And we'll do that one more final time,

Breathing in,

Letting go,

Before opening up our eyes and returning to the room around us.
