This is a guided meditation,

Calm,

Clarity and confidence.

This will help you clear your mind and relax,

Allowing you to expand your feelings of peace,

Harmony and happiness.

Before you begin,

Write down all the things that are cluttering your mind right now.

Use your journal,

Include chores,

Things that need to be completed today,

Concerns and questions you have.

And as you write each item down,

Know that you are clearing your mind,

Bringing those from inside to outside,

So that you can be more present here and now in this moment.

When your list is complete,

Put it down next to you and sit comfortably.

Close your eyes,

Take in a deep breath through the nose,

Exhale slowly through the mouth.

One more.

We're going to count from one to five,

Focusing your attention on your breath.

As you inhale,

A sense of calm and relaxation through your nose,

Exhaling completely through your mouth.

At the count of five,

Experience yourself more relaxed and at ease,

Ready to expand your experience of confidence and well-being in the present moment.

One,

Continuing to focus on your breath,

Inhaling a sense of calm and relaxation,

Exhaling completely.

Two,

If you notice any tension or tightness in your body,

Breathe into that part of your body.

And as you exhale,

Experience yourself as more relaxed and more at ease.

Three,

If thoughts enter your mind,

Simply notice them.

Inhale,

And as you exhale,

Let them go,

Continuing to focus your attention on your breath,

Breathing in a deeper sense of calm and relaxation,

And exhaling completely.

Number four,

Continuing to focus on your breath as you allow yourself to fully relax your body,

The points that are touching the floor,

Your mind,

Letting go of those thoughts,

A feeling,

A sense of confidence and renewal filling your being.

Five,

It's experiencing yourself as relaxed,

Alert,

Confident,

Fully supported,

Allowing peace,

Happiness,

Calm and confidence fill you at this present moment.

Now open yourself to deepening your experience.

As you experience yourself fully present,

Slowly and effortlessly,

Allow your eyes to open,

Feeling wide awake,

Alert,

Better than before,

Fully present in the here and now.

This meditation can be used any time you feel the need to take a break and clear your mind.
