So I invite you to listen today with an open mind,
Undistracted,
Forget about what you know about the topic I'm gonna share and see if something new comes to you.
And you know truth by the way that it feels,
Right?
It resonates with your soul.
So today's meditation and topic is on love and fear,
Choosing love,
Choosing fear.
Now,
You all that I know on this call have been on a spiritual journey as well,
Growth journey,
Healing journey,
Expansion journey,
Introspective journey,
Right?
And we hear this phrase a lot and it can get really intellectual.
And it can also,
If you've had,
Which I had a codependent background,
We hear the word love and we think,
I need to be good and kind all the time.
And then we're like,
That ain't comfortable.
I'm like wearing myself thin and we get really confused about the word love.
To me,
Love is a,
Yeah,
Totally.
I'm like loving is just being nice to everybody all the time.
Love has a feeling to it.
And so what we're doing is instead of focusing on the external semantics of what we've been taught love is because it's all jacked up and all over the place.
I think we can agree on that.
We slow down and we tune in.
And this is so real and so grounded and so practical what I'm sharing with you today,
As far as spiritual,
Right?
And we get to know the feeling of it.
Now,
When I say feeling,
I don't mean emotions because that can confuse us,
Right?
There is a deeper and I'll use the word divine,
But it's also scientific because it's just the energy that we're all made of at our core.
A feeling of love,
A sensation,
An experience of one place.
Yeah,
You hear this.
One place that we can rest inside of us.
It's almost like,
You know that movie?
Oh shoot,
Maybe y'all can help me in the chat.
What's it called?
All the little beings that are in the person's head and their different emotions,
It's a kids movie.
What is that called?
I think you guys know,
But share it if you know,
If not,
Whatever.
Inside out,
Yes,
Yes,
Yes,
Yes,
Thank you.
The beings in the head.
So that's how I see what I'm sharing.
Okay,
So imagine that there's a love center inside of us,
Which there is,
Right?
No one teaches us this when we're little.
And then I sound like a wild woman coming in sharing.
There's a love center inside of you.
But what I've come to see is that there's a console inside of us,
There's a resting place,
There's a seat within our beingness,
Within our consciousness that is the love center.
And we can dilute this word,
So don't hold so tightly to the words I'm using.
But remember,
We know if we're in this center by the way that we feel.
Now we were born into this earth living in this center.
Look at your children when they're little,
Little animals,
Nature.
I always give these examples.
And certain human beings who are sitting in the love console it's divine love,
It's unconditional love.
And it's a relief to realize,
Wow,
We have a place inside of us,
A resting place that is this.
And listen,
Like sometimes this conversation can sound crazy because the last prior to me coming into this,
I had experienced so much physical sickness and trauma and anxiety and fear and nervous system overload and panic attacks and all the things.
And I'm like,
What are you talking about?
There's a love console.
So I just choose it and then I'm sitting in it.
Jamie,
That doesn't exist.
But I was so wrapped up and we are as human beings,
We can't see past it.
I was so wrapped up in my head,
Which most of us are because we're taught to think our way through life,
That I was missing it.
So it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist in every moment.
So in my understanding,
When people say,
I'm gonna choose love,
I might not immediately be able to feel that way,
But I'm gonna realize that there is a space in me where words come out differently,
Where interactions come out differently,
Where I see the world.
It's almost like I have these new glasses on.
I wrote a poem about it last night called Love for my new poetry book.
And when I'm in that space,
I have less problems.
My life is the same,
Less problems,
More inspiration and more energy,
More of a desire to do things that I wanna do,
Motivation,
Creativity,
A desire to forgive.
So it's just,
There is a console in me and I say,
Hey,
This might confuse me and we'll do this in the meditation.
But man,
I don't feel like Jamie's blowing smoke out my butt,
This kind of sounds cool.
Let me open my mind and pray and say,
I'd really like that to choose love.
I'd really like to sit in that center console.
And then it's up to us.
So what happens is we have an awareness in that center console and we can begin to become the observer of fear.
So when we choose love,
It doesn't mean that fear goes away.
We don't want fear to go away,
Right?
There's certain primal fear that protects us and keeps us safe.
When we're like,
Oh,
We don't wanna,
We have that feeling of fear when there's an emergency or something that we need to do.
So it's not saying I wanna totally get rid of fear.
It's just having a different relationship to it.
So if there is fear that's habitual or feelings of not feeling good enough,
Or one I'm gonna speak to on my Instagram today about feeling rushed.
I don't know if any of you can relate to that,
But that one hangs out in my head all the time.
Has to get somewhere,
Make something of itself,
Right?
That little console inside.
But what I do when I say I choose love is I am so sensitively attuned to these consoles inside of me and I'm tired of living the fear one.
So that's usually what happens to us.
We kind of get tired after a while and we kind of go,
This isn't working.
This is causing me a lot of pain.
Yeah,
Feeling rushed is so relatable,
Totally,
Totally.
Now also,
Us sensitive souls who feel collective energies,
And that's not some weird thing.
We just all kind of feel whether we're sensitive or not.
Our world is in a collective rush.
Everybody's busy trying to get somewhere at a fast pace,
Which is weird when we really think about it.
It's just a made up thing.
So then,
Yeah,
Of course,
When we're little,
We're like,
I guess I gotta stay at this pace to be safe because if I live at a different pace,
I'm not gonna be able to fit into society or be loved and accepted.
So love isn't like that,
Right?
I love the quote.
I mean,
It's true.
People read it at weddings all the time.
Love is patient.
Love is kind.
Love isn't a codependent people pleaser,
But love is patient,
Love is kind.
So when the fear comes up,
Which it will,
We go,
Oh,
Hey,
And we observe it and we notice it.
And it's gonna feel like a salmon swimming up,
Up,
Up,
Up,
Upstream because it's gonna wanna take you with it.
Because remember,
You've been going in that energetic direction a really long time.
And so is everybody else around you.
And you're gonna be like,
Is this safe?
Is this okay?
I promise you love is safe.
Love is okay.
It is the cloth that you are made of.
And if you choose it,
You start to notice,
Oh my goodness,
I can live my life from a loving,
Peaceful,
Kind center.
Now I invite you,
If you like this conversation,
I mean,
Maybe we'll have time at the end,
Maybe not.
But what I did is I sat down and I went,
Okay,
Well,
What is all my,
What is my fear around being loved?
And I had a lot of them.
I'm gonna look weird.
I'm gonna make people really uncomfortable.
I'm gonna be outcast from the tribe.
All the thoughts around it.
So bring into your awareness,
Why would it be scary to live in that place?
I'm not gonna be seen if I'm not rushing around.
No one's gonna applaud me or respect me.
My life isn't gonna get done.
I'm not gonna get up and do things.
I'm not living in my head.
What a relief when someone comes along,
Which someone did for me,
Which is what I'm offering today.
When someone says,
You do not have to live your life in that space.
It looks like you have to live in fear.
It looks like we have to live in rush.
It looks like we have to live in people-pleasing because these are our defense mechanisms.
And here's the thing about a defense mechanism.
It's supposed to be hard to change.
So when you feel that resistance,
I don't wanna change this,
Wonderful,
Your brain's working because it's meant to do that.
Primally,
When we were in caveman days,
If our brains could change really quickly,
Wouldn't have been okay in the tribe.
So because it's difficult to change,
Doesn't mean that it's something that's wrong with you.
It's just like,
Wow,
This is fierce inside of my head for a reason because it's old and it had its time and place.
So day by day,
What is most important to us?
Choose love,
Choose love,
Get curious.
Oh,
Interesting,
There's a state of being inside of me that's a console and a resting place.
And I know it sounds weird because there's no tool or technique to get there.
It's just,
Hey,
I'm a soul here reminding you that there is this place and it comes with a really nice divine feeling and just opening to it and slowing down enough and starting to take the fear less seriously.
Just the tiniest bit of awareness here of this place allows you to,
It's almost like you just drop into it and you recognize it when you're there,
You're like this.
This is familiar,
This is home,
I remember this.
It's like I open up the door when I'm in this space and the birds are the most beautiful sound in the world.
And yes,
That can happen to us,
But it's this even deeper divine sweetness that's inside.
So I think that's it for that.
But just knowing that it exists,
Starting to be aware of the old patterns and knowing that it's not this complex lifelong need to do all of this healing before you can get there.
That's,
Okay,
So this is coming through very strong right now.
Love is unconditional,
Meaning you don't need to be worthy of it.
You don't need to be perfect.
You don't need to have your poop together.
You don't need to fall into the conditions of the world that tells you how you were raised.
You need to be this way in order to be loved.
And that's weird for us to grasp that we are that loved by the source of atoms within us,
That it is made of love that we just kind of have to wake up one day and remember.
But most of us are walking around going,
Well,
Wait,
Let me get all these ducks in a row in these conditions.
And we're hanging out up here and trying to get it all right,
Trying to get somewhere.
And then we never experienced this beautiful feeling that's available for us just because we're imperfect humans,
Right?

Before we move into the meditation,
We'll just chat for a minute.
I really feel like my frequency is way,
My frequency is way off is such a way that I'm attracting negative energy.
I was wondering if you have ideas on how to reset.
I'm interested in sound therapy as well.
Awesome.
Well,
Cool that you are aware of this.
So awareness is a higher vibration,
Is a higher frequency than unaware,
Than unconscious.
So when we have,
And emotions are totally safe.
Like you can be in this space of love I'm talking about and have your emotions as well.
So if we have anger,
If we have fear,
If we have jealousy,
If we have all of this stuff,
And it feels so uncomfortable and we're just pushing it over here and we're like,
I don't wanna feel any of that.
That's,
I'm ashamed of all of that,
Whatever it is.
And we just decide to put it over here in this nice little package and go on in our lives and not deal with it.
That is a lower frequency than actually acknowledging it and looking at it.
I have anger right now,
Coming,
Moving through me.
I'm experiencing,
Like you're saying negative energy.
I'm experiencing a lot of fear right now.
So sometimes we're so afraid to be aware of it because we're afraid that if we're aware of it,
It'll like get us,
But awareness is the light.
And so once we bring something into the light of our awareness,
Yes,
We may feel it more fully temporarily.
Energy always moves,
But it's gonna stay in that box and follow us around wherever we go for our whole life.
So just knowing for me,
When I heard this,
I felt so much safer going,
Oh,
Being aware of the uncomfortable or darker feelings that move through me is actually safer than going,
I don't wanna feel this so that I don't attract this and blah,
Blah,
Blah,
Blah,
Blah,
Blah,
Blah.
So seeing if you can just notice it and say,
Hey,
And this is always helpful for me too,
Like,
What is this trying to tell me?
What is this?
What is this?
Why is this here?
And then praying for the next healing step.
I had a back thing a while ago and I started doing some research and I didn't realize like lower back issues are tied to worry around finances.
So instead of walking around and just like,
Cause I was unconscious to it for a long time until it got worse,
Just like I'd stretched,
But I like didn't really think about it.
And then it became really aware of it,
But wonderful.
I get to expand in financial abundance because I brought it into my awareness.
It's never wanting to hurt us,
It's always wanting to help us grow.
So as that energy moves,
We stop attracting stuff.
Now,
Maybe this will help you too cause I'm feeling this as well.
Whatever we attract in life,
We can easily be like scared of it or this or that,
But all life is doing is showing us where our current set point is,
What we need to do to bring ourselves closer to love or come back home to love or come back home to peace or whatever it is.
So life can look really scary if we're like,
Ah,
All this stuff's happening.
And then we slow down and we're okay.
Okay,
This is really,
Really hard to look at.
I wonder why these types of people are coming into my life.
I wonder why certain people or certain things that I want aren't coming into my life.
And then we don't feel like such a victim.
We feel empowered in situations that are occurring in our lives.
So hopefully that helped.

So let me give you some music if you don't have some.

I know it can be so challenging because I live this path too,
To live at a different speed than the rest of the world.
It can seem like everything will fall apart there,
But I promise you it won't.
And if you're anything like me,
I was,
And I'm recovering from this,
An insane control freak,
Like wanting to be in charge of everything in my life,
Not knowing how to let go,
Not knowing how to relax,
Not knowing how to let somebody else take over or do something.
And it looked like I was controlling people.
It was really controlling God coming for me,
Source,
Energy,
Quantum field,
Whatever you want to call it.
So what happens internally as we let go of control by noticing when we're sped up,
All of that,
And we just become aware of it.
And so we slow down a little bit,
Look for a new resting place inside of ourselves.
We realize that when we slow down and we get comfortable in the unknown,
Which is the space of love,
We get comfortable in the unknown.
The energy of love pops through and takes care of us with new ideas,
New inspiration,
New energy.
We give it space.
So when we're controlling and living in fear,
Living in our heads,
There's no space for source to pop through to fill us with energy and fill us with love and fill us with inspiration.
And so it seems counterproductive and we don't know how to stop.
And I know I was there too,
And I was running and going and rushing.
And if I let go,
I'm not gonna be okay and I'm unsafe.
And then one day,
There's this beautiful poem.
Maybe I'll see if I can find it during the meditation when there's a pause.
But I let go.
There's a poem about letting go.
And you just experiment and you're like,
Oh my goodness,
Ideas come through,
Energy comes through,
A beautiful feeling comes through.
I'm held.
So all the fears that you're gonna journal about,
Oh my gosh,
Nothing's gonna happen and I'm gonna become lazy.
We start day by day when we sit in this new space inside of ourselves.
Wait a minute,
I am held and ideas do come through and I don't need to have it all together and things pop into my head.
And it's a weird thought.
What,
I'm powered by like a source inside of me that isn't all my brain.
But when we kind of get over the weirdness of that and we experiment and we're like,
Hey man,
There's a love energy inside me that wants to take care of me and love me.
We get to go for a really beautiful ride.
So close your eyes and get comfortable in your space.
And while you're getting comfortable,
You can put music on if you want.
Pull up this poem.
I wish I wrote it,
It's really good.
Now the poem I think is,
Yeah,
It says she,
But whatever gender you identify with,
Fill in the blanks.
See if you can feel the speed that I am vibrating.
See if you can slow down and feel into this space knowing that it's safe here.
And even if it doesn't feel like that,
Perhaps we can experiment.
Okay,
Brain,
Let's just for this meditation here with Jamie,
Just for this 15 minute meditation,
I'm gonna hang out her speed,
Beautiful.
Just relax.
If there's tears,
If there's feelings,
All is welcome.
And I want you just to start breathing down into your belly.
So taking three deep breaths into the belly.
We're matching our frequency with the speed of love.
The speed of truth,
The speed of real,
The speed of honesty,
The speed of light,
Authenticity,
Wildness,
Realness,
Before the sped up fearful mind.
We don't need to control the fear to be okay.
We just step back from it a little bit.
We see it,
That's all.
Will you join me in this space of love today?
Deep breath into the belly and release.
Just feel your bottom,
Feel your hips,
Your bum,
Your legs on the ground.
Breathe and release.
Just relax your eyes and relax the space behind your eyes and just allow yourself for a container together knowing that it will bring us back at the end.
So slow down.
Finding this new center console that can be so disorienting and weird and foreign.
On one level,
It doesn't even feel like us at all.
And on another level,
It's who we've always been.
Real than the other.
Soft eyes,
Relaxed shoulders,
Breath down into the belly,
Nice and gentle.
Slow connection to the ground,
Let the ground support you.
Just imagine that you're sitting on the earth.
You have tree roots growing out of your hips and your tailbone and your legs and your feet.
It's just merging down to the earth right below you.
Really fastening your body.
I want you just to set the intention.
I release any energy that isn't mine.
And I release any energy that isn't love that I no longer wish to carry.
Just keep breathing and relaxing and releasing.
And at the beginning of this year,
2022,
I choose love.
I might not even know what that means,
But I pray to know it.
I pray to let that frequency move into my being.
Knowing that it's already what I am made of,
I just forgot its presence because I grew up in a world that forgets its presence.
But as a flower blooming within me,
I allow this flower to open.
I'm not doing anything.
It's almost like I'm just opening up a lens and opening up a door to see through.
I'm making a choice and then letting it reveal itself in its own time.
Choosing to breathe and relax,
Knowing that when I rest in the unknown,
The unknown is safe.
The space between my thoughts is safe.
Not knowing is safe.
I settle in a little bit deeper into the safety of this warm space and I allow it to take over my being.
Knowing that when I let go of control,
Beauty happens.
I let my brain know that I am just experimenting and I can go back to the old way if that feels better.
But for now,
I'm just trying something new.
Beginning of the year,
Curious.
Sounds nice.
Keeping today's practice simple as you just really relax your eyes.
Relax corners of your lips and your shoulders,
Belly.
Let the body be light,
Breathing into the belly.
There's a quote that I love.
Do not let others pull you into their storm.
Pull them into your peace.
And so we create beings of love,
Beings of peace.
We are placed all around the earth to stop the flow of fear,
To be a beacon of light.
Breathing into the belly and relaxing down into the space below you,
Just letting your bones rest.
Realizing that you do not need to be sped up in the head to be safe.
Just allowing yourself to hang out a little bit before all of that.
Place that you know.
Place you will recognize when you click into it.
Relaxing and releasing and settling in.
Just allow yourself to be still.
You knew this place when you were young and ease about you.
Regardless of circumstance,
We don't become an intelligent,
Lazy pushovers.
We become pillars of light,
Motivated,
Inspired,
Energized,
Filled with truth and honesty and love,
Safety internally.
We're looking for an internal resting place,
Unconditional love,
Soft eyes,
Soft face,
Soft shoulders,
Soft belly.
Slowing down,
Breathing into the belly,
Relaxing the hips and the legs into the ground,
Grounded into the earth,
Releasing,
Spending life looking for something out there.
As we ask ourselves,
Why do I do all that I do?
What am I seeking?
Am I having money and health and relationship?
Do I want peace or love or enoughness,
Freedom,
Joy?
Take a moment to ask,
Why do I do all that I do?
What frequency,
What energy,
What state of being am I after?
As we allow ourselves to move into a massive perspective shift,
I allow myself to experience this energy,
This frequency,
This state of being within unconditionally before my life changes.
Even if I can't wrap my head around this,
My spirit knows how to take the lead here.
So I let go of holding on so tight to rearranging the pieces to find something that doesn't live where I'm looking.
And I open to resting in this state,
Regardless of the ups and downs and creations of my life.
Breathing and relaxing the body as we create new programs,
New intentions.
Settling into this space as you receive the words of the poem,
She Let Go,

She let go without a thought or a word.
She let go,
She let go of the fear.
She let go of the judgments.
She let go of the confluence of opinions swarming around in her head.
She let go of the committee of indecision within her.
She let go of all the right reasons,
Wholly and completely without hesitation or worry.
She just let go.
She didn't ask anyone for advice.
She didn't read a book on how to let go.
She just let go.
She let go of all the memories that held her back.
She let go of all the anxiety that kept her from moving.
She let go of the calculations about how to do it just right.
She didn't promise to let go.
She didn't journal about it.
She didn't write the projected date in her day timer.
She made no public announcement and put no ad in.
She didn't check the weather report or read her daily horoscope.
She just let go.
She didn't analyze whether she should let go.
She didn't call her friends to discuss it.
She didn't call her friends to discuss the matter.
She didn't do a five-step spiritual mind treatment.
She didn't call the prayer line.
She did another one work.
She just let go.
No one was around when it happened.
There was no applause or congratulations.
No one thanked her or praised her.
No one noticed a thing.
Like a leaf falling from a tree,
She just let go.
There was no effort.
There was no struggle.
It wasn't good and it wasn't bad.
It was what it was,
And it is just that.
Letting go,
She let it all be.
A small smile came over her face.
A light breeze blew through her,
And the sun and the moon shone forevermore.
So just allowing yourself to take a deep breath once more into the body as we begin to make our transition back,
Feeling the physical connection between your body and whatever is under it,
That you're plugged into the earth,
That you're behind your eyes and you are planted in your body.
You're in your breath,
Choosing something new,
And then starting to stretch and wiggle and bring yourself back whenever you feel ready.
