
Releasing Old Energies | Calling in New Energies

As sensitive souls, we can innocently pick up other people's energy or feel our own feelings deeply, which can be jarring if we weren't given permission to feel all of this or know how to let it process through us. This light activation talk and meditation gives us a chance to help our energy move and clear so that we can make space for new energetic creations in alignment with our own heart.
Transcript
Beautiful.
So we are welcoming energies,
Releasing energies,
And then welcoming in new energies today.
So I want you just to give yourself permission because usually when we go from working to meditating,
Our mind is running 700 miles an hour.
So just feel your bottom planted on the seat wherever you are.
Just come into this moment with me no matter how chaotic or intense or beautiful or fast.
Just come back here.
You can feel your bottom on the ground.
And we're just going to start breathing.
So breathe into that belly.
Right underneath the rib cage is your solar plexus.
We have fight or flight.
Our body can grip here.
So letting the breath move right into this spot.
Right below the ribs,
The lungs,
Right into your diaphragm,
Also known as.
Taking your breath down there and allowing it to gently stretch your muscles from the inside.
Just helping you to calm down and relax.
Feeling that bottom on the ground,
Breathing into the diaphragm,
Breathing into the belly.
Let everything go.
Relax your eyes.
Even if you need to verbalize,
Because I can't hear you,
You can just hear me being goofy.
But whatever sound wants to come out as you breathe out,
Your sigh.
Allows the body to release.
Breathing into the belly and relaxing.
And the bottom on the ground.
Let your body relax.
Let your shoulders maybe pull your shoulders up to your ears and then you let them go.
Let your body relax as best as you can.
Breathe in,
Let go.
Let your eyes relax.
And I know it's so challenging because your brain wants to say run,
Run,
Run,
Run,
Run.
Don't feel this.
What we're going to do here is very gently,
Very slowly welcome.
We're going to welcome the sensations,
The energies.
So even if it's joy,
Sometimes we have a difficulty feeling massive amounts of love and massive amounts of joy.
So whatever energies are moving through our body,
Comfortable or uncomfortable,
Just relaxing and softening and breathing into these energies.
And when I say energies,
I'm meaning thoughts,
Sensations,
Feelings,
Energies.
Sensations in the body.
Just breathing down into the diaphragm.
Let your eyes relax.
Let your shoulders relax.
Breathing into any sensation of anxiety,
Insecurity,
Excitement,
Confusion.
Where are you?
What do you feel?
Let's ask our bodies right now.
Meaning ourselves where we are.
We have to to pull in new.
So how do you feel?
Saying that to yourself,
How do you feel right now?
And it's okay to be honest with yourself.
There's nothing wrong with you.
I'm even having a sense of inadequacy come up for me.
Just human feelings.
Just being honest with yourself.
I feel scared.
I feel anxious.
I feel insecure.
I feel inadequate.
I feel happy.
It's just a feeling.
It isn't who you are.
You are whole and perfect and complete and you have feelings that move through you.
Breathing into the diaphragm,
Relaxing the face,
Relaxing the shoulders.
This is what it means to love yourself.
We're just being with ourselves.
How often do we take time in the day to breathe into how we feel?
To be with the little kid that is us that wanted this attention when we were young.
How are you feeling?
And I'm just going to breathe with you through it.
And if it feels like too much,
We dial it down to 1% of a hundred.
Could I just welcome 1% of this feeling,
This energy of inadequacy or joy,
Of anger wherever you're at?
Could I just let the corner or the edge be welcome here in my experience for now?
It's okay too.
I want you to see if you can soften around the hard parts.
Almost like a sensation of the sun holding a block of ice.
It's like instead of the block of ice being held by a storm,
This block of ice is sitting on the grass or on the sand and the sun is out and the birds are out and there's nature around and the sun is warming the ice,
It's holding the ice.
That's what you're doing for yourself.
You're holding that space for yourself with your attention,
With your breath,
With your love,
With your softening.
This simple exercise can move mountains.
Just let everything soften in the sun.
I see you,
I hear you,
I understand you,
You say to yourself,
This makes sense.
I get it,
You say,
I get it.
Let everything relax,
Even softer eyes.
Can you feel your bottom on the ground?
Can you feel the chair,
The bed holding your body?
Can you feel yourself letting go?
Can you feel yourself softening?
I want you to see if you can let go of this being difficult or hard or effortful and allow this to be effortless.
It's almost like you're gently allowing the sun to melt you.
You don't need to make the sun and make the sunrise and put it up.
It's just,
It's here and it's easy and you're just putting your face towards it.
You're receiving and allowing a settling to occur just with your breath,
Just with your softening.
What is here for you now and can you breathe into it?
Let it transmute and digest with your attention and your breath.
And as you relax and allow these energies to move and flow,
I know this part can be challenging,
But I want you to see if you can loosen your grip on this for a moment and let go.
As we've given it our attention,
The energies are starting to move or kind of stepping back from this part of the process for a moment.
We're continuing to breathe and relax,
But we know that we've done the work and we allow it to continue without our conscious attention on it.
It's going to continue to shift and break up and melt in the background.
We take a deep breath and let it go.
Can I just let this go in its own time?
Can I just let this go?
Good.
And as I relax a little deeper within myself,
Can I know that I have created space for something new to come into my life now?
So I tune in to my heart,
Into my body,
And I ask myself,
What one thing would I like to create more of in my life?
Maybe it's money,
Friends,
Peace in your relationship,
Experiences,
Travel,
Whatever it is for you.
Maybe it's a state of being,
Happiness,
A car,
Whatever it is.
Tune in and let one thing come to your mind.
What would I like to create more of in my life?
See what dawns on you as you tune in.
See what dawns on you as you tune in.
See what dawns on you as you And as this dances around in your consciousness,
I want you just to ask yourself,
And if it's a feeling state,
You already have the answer.
But if it's a thing,
What would having this in your life bring you more of feeling-wise?
Maybe you don't know the answer right away,
But if it's money,
You kind of tune in and you're like,
Huh,
If I had that,
I'd feel safe,
Or if I had that,
I'd feel enough,
Or if I had that,
I'd feel cared for.
And if I had the relationship I wanted,
I'd feel at peace,
Or I'd feel loved,
Or I'd feel worthy.
So what feeling state,
What emotion,
What energy are you after?
What do you believe it will give you?
Let's tune in and see what answer comes,
Because knowing this helps us bring more of it into our life.
And once we have a sense of this,
I want you just to see if a memory or an image or a sensation pops into your mind when you ask yourself,
When was the time that I felt this way?
Loved?
Enough?
Safe?
When was a time that I felt this way?
Could it be from one or 20?
See what pops into your mind.
A moment in time,
Perhaps.
I want you just to allow this memory,
This moment,
This image to expand in your awareness.
So if you didn't get a memory or an image,
I want you just to pretend,
What would it feel like?
We have to override our brain's impulse right now,
But what would it feel like if I felt this energy of the thing that I want,
If I felt enough or safe?
Can I just imagine for a moment,
Just a moment I'm playing,
I'm imagining beyond what proof I see in my universe,
I'm using the creative capacity of my mind to create new.
What would it feel like to bathe in this sensation of enoughness or joy or peace or love?
And maybe I can use this memory or this moment or this sensation to get the ball rolling on this energy,
However small it is at first.
Your body's not used to feeling this.
So just allow yourself to breathe and soften and relax and like an elixir from the heavens,
Let this beautiful sensation be felt in your heart and your body as if it was an energetic blob of color and it was just moving through your whole body.
Expanding out two feet around you on all sides,
You're breathing it in,
You're drinking it in,
Most importantly,
You feel this feeling as if you already have it.
This tells our brain I am worthy of it,
It is safe.
Look for proof of it in my world of form so that you start pulling in more experiences that match this feeling that you crave.
So on your own for the next couple minutes with a light heart,
Letting yourself breathe in this energy,
Let it expand,
Let it be light and playful and allow yourself to create something new.
You you you slowly beginning to allow yourself Take one more breath into this new sensation knowing that At any time you can allow yourself in a playful moment to welcome in the sensation Of the energy behind what you want Knowing that that will pull in similar experiences and give your brain proof of new But we must welcome where we are at first meeting ourselves and love to welcome the sensations that are already here to move and Create space for new So as you breathe into this new energetic set point you begin to notice that once again your body is on the surface You feel all the connections between your bottom and your back And you begin to breathe down into that diaphragm again you can begin to breathe down into your belly Breathing into the belly and releasing Just let the eyes relax shoulders relax the belly relax breathing into the belly As you notice that you're right behind your eyes you're down here you're in your body you're in your breath And you start to stretch and move and shake and wiggle Your body back to the room I'm right here Beautiful co-creator with life Holy cow life As you come back you open your eyes to the day Thank you all for joining me.
