So allowing yourself to get settled into your space,
Closing your eyes,
And just beginning by bringing your awareness to the connection between the bottom half of your body and the seat below you.
Perhaps noticing your back connected to the space as well.
And just allowing your awareness to drift into these four walls.
And with these next few inhales and exhales,
See if you can allow your body just to begin to melt down into the space below you.
Almost as if the ground is completely holding the weight of your body and you allow yourself to sink a bit deeper below,
As if the energy of your body is merging with the earth.
Letting go of needing to do anything in particular here.
Just allowing the body to be soft and easy and beginning to turn all of your awareness inward.
Seeing if you can let go of any specific point or destination,
But just trying to feel your way to the opposite of the outer world.
Settling in,
Letting go.
It's really common for us to walk around in stories and illusions of ideas in our mind that aren't in alignment with our truth.
So whenever you feel left of center or you feel disconnected from who you are or you've lost that lightness of being,
You can join me in this prayer meditation.
Surrendering all of these stories and illusions to something greater than us,
To our heart,
To our intuition,
To source,
To God,
To the universe,
To intelligence.
Thank you for releasing me from the stories of my mind.
Thank you for showing me truth instead of this.
May my mind be healed.
May I be set free.
May I be shown how silly it is to carry these things around in the most gentlest,
Easiest ways.
And may I be aligned with the light in my heart.
May I know truth.
May I know my soul and my spirit in this lifetime to the greatest degree.
Thank you for setting me free and aligning me with love.
And so it is.
Allow yourself just to take a few breaths here and sit in this quiet space.
And whenever you feel ready,
Just allowing yourself to begin to bring your awareness of the connection between your body and the seat below you and behind you once more.
Becoming aware of the space that your body occupies in space.
Placing the sounds around you in all directions.
And feeling the sensation of gravity holding you down into your space.
Placing yourself behind your eyes.
Placing yourself inside of your body.
And just noticing that you are on the earth.
At your own pace,
Taking three long,
Slow,
Quiet,
Deep inhales and exhales.
In through the nostrils,
Out through the mouth,
Letting everything go.
And whenever you feel ready,
Just beginning to circle the hands and move the wrists.
Circling the feet and moving the ankles and just transitioning into stretching or moving any parts of your body that feel ready to stretch or move.
And whenever you feel ready,
You can go ahead and open your eyes.
