This is designed for you to release stress that is stored in the body,
The mind,
And your subtle body,
Allowing you to return to a space of inner peace,
Balance,
And calm.
Let's begin by closing the eyes down and tuning into our breath.
Stress isn't just in the mind,
It lives in the body,
In your shoulders,
Your chest,
Your breath even,
In the subtle tension you've been holding on to without even realizing.
And the way for us to release it is with our breath and our awareness.
Let's feel into that together.
Take a deep breath in.
As you release,
Allow tension to be exhaled out of the body.
Deep breath in.
Exhale.
Give yourself permission to allow the body to soften.
Every breath you breathe in allows your body to take an exhale with it.
The shoulders soften.
The chest opens.
The legs and the hips become heavier.
You unclench your jaw.
And even your entire head softens.
Here and now.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Stress is not just what's happening around you.
It is the state your body is in.
A constant signal of urgency,
Pressure,
Even survival.
And the body will get stuck,
Frozen here in time,
As it lives here.
But your nervous system can be guided into a different state.
Not by force,
But through awareness and safety.
So right now,
There is nothing you need to do.
Nowhere you need to go.
You are choosing this for your greater good.
You are safe to relax.
Safe to let go.
Safe to soften.
Safe to be.
Bringing your awareness to your shoulders.
And notice if there is any tightness.
Any subtle holding on to.
Any weight of responsibility you bear is often held in this space in the body.
Take a deep breath in and squeeze your shoulders up to the ears.
Inhale.
Exhale.
And as you exhale,
Let them drop just a little.
Softening away from you.
Melting.
Bring your awareness to your jaw.
And as you breathe in,
Hold at the top and tense your jaw.
Squeeze your teeth together.
And then exhale,
Release it all.
Allowing the muscles in your face to melt.
Taking a deep breath in as you breathe into your chest.
Notice your breath.
Exhale.
Notice if your breath is feeling restricted or shallow.
If the chest is feeling closed.
I want you to expand it and open it up as you breathe your next breath in and allow the breath to go all the way down to the belly.
Inhale.
Push that belly out and feel it rise.
Exhale,
Soften.
And your inhales become deeper,
Slower,
More full.
And your exhales become longer,
More drawn out,
More gentle.
And this is signaling to your body that you are safe.
To let go of your guard.
To let go of any protection.
To soften into the body and allow whatever it is that you are holding onto to be exhaled out of you.
Creating space and cultivating this beautiful stillness within you.
This is what expansion feels like.
Now bring your awareness to your entire body.
And begin to imagine that with every exhale,
You physically feel your body getting heavier.
As if it is being pulled down into gravity.
And as you breathe,
The next five breaths,
You feel your body becoming more supported,
More grounded,
More settled.
Do you feel the space that is opening within you?
The lightness?
You are expanding your being to allow more love,
More light,
More magic into your world.
Now what does it feel like to hand over your worries?
To hand over any outcomes you are trying to control?
Can you see these worries,
These stresses in your hand right now and physically hand them over to you?
Hand them over,
Out of your hands,
Into the universe.
They just float away.
Dissolve and evaporate knowing that it will be taken care of for you in the perfect,
Most divine way that it will.
You don't need to carry it all.
You don't need to hold on to everything so tight.
You are allowed to soften.
You are allowed to release what you have been holding.
You are so held,
So supported.
You are not meant to live this life stressed.
You are meant to live it exactly as you are right here,
Right now.
You are present,
Safe,
Calm,
Held,
Surrendered.
Take a deep breath in.
Take a deep breath out.

And you will know it is your new natural state.
