This is Padma.
And I want to offer you a practice that I use myself multiple times a day.
And I invite you to experiment with this.
Experiment with a very brief pause.
Because when we pause throughout our day,
It changes everything.
So let's enjoy a brief pause together.
Allowing the eyes to close.
Feeling the weight of your lids.
Letting the body settle and the spine belong.
And now turn toward your breath.
Just for a couple of minutes.
And you might notice that simply by turning toward your breath,
The mind will quiet down.
Feel your whole system settle just by turning your attention inside.
And the more you turn toward yourself and pause from the busyness of your life,
The easier it becomes to settle down,
To drink in the space inside.
Every breath allows you to drink in a space inside of you.
A space where you can take refuge and emerge refreshed and revitalized while feeling deeply relaxed.
Let us take a breath together.
Releasing everything you no longer need.
And giving thanks for the pause.
Allow your eyes to open,
Seeing the world freshly.
And please practice pausing throughout your day.
Maybe start with twice a day.
Or three times a day.
Enjoy the pause.
