This is Padma Gordon.
I would like to offer you a shorter meditation today.
This meditation is called Reset to Presence.
Because in my experience,
Being present means that we tend to the present moment again and again.
So let us sit for a few minutes together and reset to presence.
Closing the eyes,
Letting the spine belong.
Let your body organize.
And then take a breath.
And this breath resets you to presence.
The breath happens in present time.
Each time you notice your breath,
You are resetting to presence.
It's very simple.
And it takes practice.
So let's just take a few minutes and sit together.
And from time to time,
You will hear my voice calling you back to presence.
I will hold the space and you can safely and easily drop down deep inside.
Trust that you are not alone.
We are here together with an international community of incredible beings,
Meditators,
Lovers of presence.
Breathing,
Allowing your attention to rest in the present.
Every breath calls you to this present moment.
With this breath,
Reset to presence.
Follow your breath home and reset to presence.
And now,
Bring your hands together and feel their texture,
Their temperature,
And reset to presence.
Taking another full breath and returning to the room,
Thanking yourself for taking just a few minutes to cultivate your ability to reset to presence.
