Feet grounding,
Instructing your body to gently let go and give yourself permission to be here for the next few minutes.
Your hands are resting gently here on your lap.
Your eyes are softly closed,
Relaxed,
Breathing naturally.
Taking a couple of deep breaths here,
In and out.
In,
Out,
Relax.
Feeling yourself sinking down into the chair or into the earth.
I'd like your mind now to create an image of you.
A you that knows trust that is connected to the earth below.
Where the roots of your spirit are grounding down into the earth.
It runs from the base of your spine,
Down through your legs and out through your feet,
And moves down into the ground.
See and feel yourself grounded,
Rooted and trusting within yourself.
Your arms are wide open,
Using your exhale to root deeper down into the earth.
Breathing,
Letting go,
Feeling the pleasure of this deliberate release.
Recognising this is how you are meant to feel,
Grounded,
Earthed and supported.
Drawing on the energy from the earth back into your body,
Through the soles of your feet.
Imagine every cell in your being taking on the natural energy of the earth.
How you are no longer carrying around so much weight.
This renewed self is alive within you now.
You are choosing through this practice to step into this you,
To let go,
To awaken your essence.
Breathe,
Relax,
Grounded.
If you're feeling any resistance,
Just know that this is natural.
Just try to let go,
And you can arrive back to the healing power of the earth at any time.
