Silence. What can be said about silence? Not much. Stillness. Listen. Pauses. . . . Noticing. . . . The gaps. . . . What's in between. . . . Stillness, ease, quiet, refreshment, silence. Shhhhhh. Being actively present for silence, even if ever so briefly, starts training an attunement to silence. With repetition, returning again and again to silence, some of its benefits become more and more apparent: calmness, clarity, spaciousness, stillness, ease, responsiveness, awareness.
