When practicing mindfulness of breathing, consider how the breath can permeate and saturate different aspects of experience. It can fill the body, reaching every pore and cell. It can move through the heart, touching even its subtle stirrings. It can extend into the mind, thoughts, and consciousness itself, fully saturating the entire realm of awareness.

Saturate.

Especially when working with mindfulness of breathing as the object.

What all can the breath permeate?

The body.

Permeating through every pore and cell of the body.

Saturating it with the breath and then we've got the heart,

Whatever the heart is capable of.

Stirrings even,

Stirrings of the heart.

Can the breath permeate that?

Saturate that completely full.

The mind,

Thoughts,

Thinking,

Consciousness itself,

The breath,

The object,

Completely going through and filling entirety of the realm of the mind and consciousness.
