Sitting in a comfortable position and when you feel ready gently closing your eyes.

Take a breath in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Allow your body to feel calm and relaxed.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Use your imagination to see yourself sitting in a beautiful place in nature.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

What can you see?

What can you hear or smell or feel?

Use your senses and really feel connected with the place in nature you have chosen to sit in today.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Notice and be aware.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Now think of this place in nature that you have chosen from a bigger perspective.

Visualize the whole of planet Earth.

See Mother Earth slowly spinning and have gratitude for Mother Earth.

Home to everyone on the planet.

We all have one big house that we share.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Just take a moment to feel with gratitude for the planet that is home for all of us.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Think of the trees that give us oxygen,

Our breath and life force that we could not live without.

Breathe in and breathe out.

We are connected with nature.

We breathe in the oxygen from the trees and we breathe out the carbon dioxide for the trees.

Breathe in and feel grateful.

Breathe out and offer to the trees.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in oxygen and feel grateful.

And breathe out carbon dioxide and offer this to nature.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Now feel grateful for the soil our food is grown in.

Feel grateful for the rain and the sun that grows our food.

And breathe out.

Feel grateful for the water we drink.

Appreciate it all and be thankful for how Mother Earth provides for us.

How we've received so much.

Breathe in and breathe out.

So what is it that we are doing to support Mother Earth and take care of Mother Earth?

What can we do today to help out?

Could we use less water?

Maybe plant a tree?

Recycle?

Reuse something?

Help clean up a beach or bushland or park?

Could we use less electricity?

What is it that we could do today?

Breathe in and breathe out.

There are many options.

Being grateful and aware and appreciative of all that Mother Earth offers is a great place to start.

Thanking Mother Earth each day is a great practice.

Breathe in and breathe out.

If you are unsure about how to make a difference,

You might do some research and find exactly what it is that you can do to help.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Now bring your awareness back to the beautiful place in nature you first imagined.

Breathe in.

Be still.

And breathe out.

Breathe in.

Feel calm.

And breathe out.

Breathe in.

Feel rested.

And breathe out.

Breathe in.

Feel rejuvenated.

And breathe out.

And breathe out.

Slowly opening your eyes,

Feeling relaxed and joy-filled and appreciative of Mother Earth and all that we receive.
