Hello and welcome to your mantra meditation.

I'm truly grateful that you're here today and I'm proud of you for taking some time out of your busy world so you can really focus some time and dedicate some time to you.

Today I'm going to guide you through a mantra meditation and this has now become a practice that is truly sacred to me.

After years of trying to meditate,

I'm truly proud that I've been able to establish a daily meditation practice for myself and that is through mantra meditation.

When you're ready I invite you to go ahead and find a comfortable position,

Sitting with your spine straight but not rigid,

Keep it soft,

Straight so you can allow that prana,

That breath,

That life force to be able to flow through you.

When you're ready,

Closing down your eyes and if it feels good for you to do so,

Keeping your hands in your lap,

Feel palms facing up or resting gently on your knees.

Your palms can be facing up to receive or you can face them down towards the ground for more grounding and now I invite you to go ahead in your own time,

Take in a large inhale through your nose,

Filling into your chest,

Filling into your tummy and a slight pause at the top and then when you're ready,

Exhaling through your mouth as you think the word release.

Another inhale through your nose,

Expanding into your chest,

Into your tummy and then when you're ready,

Exhaling through your mouth as you think the word release.

Another inhale through your nose for the last time,

Expanding into your chest,

Filling into your tummy and then when you're ready,

Once again exhaling through your mouth as you think the word release.

Now I invite you to breathe however your body wants to breathe in this moment,

We are not manipulating the breath here now.

We are surrendering into this moment and allowing everything to just be,

Always knowing you are exactly where you're meant to be at this very point in time.

If you were meant to be anywhere else,

You would be,

So allow yourself to just be here.

I ask you to ask yourself,

How am I today,

How am I,

How am I feeling?

Be aware of the response,

It may come to you as a sound,

As a thought,

As a feeling,

Maybe a sensation.

Just be curious to a response and actually we dive a little bit deeper in this moment and can you ask yourself how you're feeling mentally,

Emotionally,

Again observing,

We're not forcing an answer here but it's in the silence when we allow ourselves space,

That we connect to ourselves.

So now I ask you to ask yourself how you feel physically,

How does your body feel?

Now I ask you to ask yourself how you feel spiritually,

How does your soul feel?

And observing the response of what comes up for you,

As we tend to just think we are one being but we are not,

We are made up of so much more.

We're a physical being,

We're a mental being,

We're a spiritual being and at times these can feel so disconnected and that is when we can say that we are out of flow,

Out of our rhythm,

Out of alignment.

So I ask you today is there a way that you can harmonize all of these beings to be more fluid,

To be more in flow,

How can you connect a little bit more of each of one of these to be running in harmony,

Flowing in harmony and connecting.

As I ask you what you need to let go of in this moment to be able to connect a little bit deeper,

I invite you again to take another large inhale through your nose and as you exhale think the word release.

Now we come to the mantra part of this meditation and if you have your own mantra then go ahead and start repeating this to yourself and if you don't I invite you to use the mantra soul hum,

Soul hum.

Repeat this mantra silently to yourself,

You do not need to do any more than that.

We use a mantra to take us to deeper levels of consciousness,

It allows us to have a one pointed focus and as you repeat your mantra soul hum don't overthink it,

Just allow it to be and it's perfectly normal to have thoughts in meditation,

It's not about stopping the thoughts,

It's about allowing them to move through you without attachment.

So as you now repeat your mantra soul hum,

Soul hum,

Soul hum,

Allow the vibration to connect you to yourself,

Carry on repeating soul hum silently to yourself and I'm now going to be silent for a few minutes,

Be four or five minutes as you allow this mantra to take you in and every time that you've noticed that you've come away from the mantra and you are then attached to a thought that is perfectly okay,

Just come back to the mantra each and every time.

I'm now going to be silent and the next time you hear my voice I'll be advising you to release the mantra.

Satchit Ananda,

Release the mantra and now just allow yourself to be in this moment,

In this stillness and just take a moment to just be.

It's always beneficial to give yourself a moment to come back into the present.

As you come out of your meditative state,

How did you find using the mantra?

Did you notice that it was easier to be able to connect a little deeper,

To be able to have more focus,

To just be,

To surrender,

That is the gift of a mantra.

As I invite you to take another large inhale through your nose and as you exhale think the word release.

I am now going to set some intentions for the day for you and I.

May you always have a joyful,

Energetic,

Healthy body.

May you always have a loving,

Kind,

Compassionate heart.

May you always have a reflective,

Alert,

Peaceful mind and a lightness of being.

It may feel good for you right now as you take another inhale through your nose,

You stretch your arms up towards the sky,

Wiggle your fingers and your toes and on your exhale you bring your hands to heart centre.

Taking a moment of gratitude for being here in this very moment.

I am sharing my gratitude to you for allowing me to guide you today.

Come back to this mantra any time you desire,

Each and every day if it feels good for you to do so.

I am always here,

Always reach out.

Namaste.
