Good morning and welcome to the morning fresh meditation.
If you have some lemon essential oil nearby I recommend just grabbing your essential oil,
Having a sniff,
Perhaps putting a few drops in the diffuser and then when you're ready settling yourself in to a comfortable position for this morning meditation.
Closing down the eyes and bringing your awareness to the breath.
Take a deep breath in through the nose,
Breathing in cleansing cool air and exhale out the mouth releasing any stagnant breath.
Inhale slowly and exhale deeply and completely.
Now take the deepest breath you've taken all week and as you exhale relax,
Let your whole body sink into whatever is supporting you and resume your normal breathing.
I'd like you to visualize how you would like to feel today.
Visualize yourself making breakfast,
Getting dressed,
Going about your daily activities.
How would you like to feel today?
Every morning brings a fresh opportunity to start again.
So today you can consciously choose how you want to feel.
Once you know how you want to feel for the day ahead,
You can create an affirmation using that word.
So if you want to feel happy today,
Your affirmation could simply be,
I am happy.
Once you have created your morning affirmation,
Repeat this in your mind a few times.
I'll give you a moment here now to repeat your affirmation.
It's time to release your affirmation now.
And it's time to come back into the present moment,
Bringing your awareness back into your body,
Perhaps wriggling the toes,
Wriggling the fingers and then opening the eyes.
As you go about your day,
Come back to this meditation,
Remembering how you want to feel today.
