Hi and welcome to the evening gratitude ritual meditation.
My name is Kyra and tonight I'll be guiding you through this evening practice.
So let's begin by finding yourself in a comfortable position,
Perhaps lying in bed or sitting whatever feels best for you tonight.
And when you're ready close down the eyes.
Let's take a few deep breaths together.
In through the nose.
And out through the mouth.
In through the nose.
And out through the mouth.
One more deep breath in.
And as you exhale just let go of the day that has been.
Letting go.
Relaxing.
Just being present right here,
Right now.
Bring your awareness down to your toes.
Letting your toes relax.
Bring your awareness up through your feet.
Relaxing the feet.
Bring your awareness up through your legs.
Relaxing your legs.
Bringing your awareness up through your spine.
Relaxing each vertebrae.
Bringing your awareness up through your shoulders.
Relaxing.
Bring your awareness down your arms.
Down into your hands and fingers.
Letting them relax.
Bringing your awareness back up through your neck.
Relaxing your neck.
Feeling your head relax.
Your face.
Your mouth relax.
Your eyes.
And your forehead.
All sinking into a deep state of relaxation.
And from this relaxed state.
Bring to your mind something that you are feeling proud of achieving today.
It might be just one thing,
Big or small.
It could be as simple as showing up for your daily meditation practice.
Or it could be something bigger that you achieved.
Let yourself feel grateful for achieving this.
Show yourself some gratitude and love for doing whatever it took for you to get here.
Get to that achievement.
And now bring to mind someone who you connected with,
Who helped you.
Or someone who positively impacted your day today.
And fill your heart with love and gratitude for this person.
And send out that gratitude towards them.
Being so thankful for all the support that you have from the people around you.
And now bring to mind whatever else you are feeling grateful for.
What do you feel grateful for tonight?
It could be something that happened.
Someone or something in your life.
Just bring that to your mind.
And let your heart expand with gratitude.
Let your heart fill with love.
And you can send that love out to wherever it needs to go.
Whether that's to yourself,
To others,
Or just out to the universe.
Bringing your awareness now back into your physical body.
Feeling into your toes.
Giving them a little wiggle.
Feeling into your hands and fingers and giving them a stretch.
And bring one of your hands up to your heart.
Just resting your hand over your heart space.
And send love to yourself for showing up for your meditation practice today.
