Welcome to this dark moon meditation.
My name is Kyra and I'll be your guide today.
The dark moon is the perfect time for exploring your shadow side and facing your fears.
So when you're ready,
Find yourself in a comfortable position,
Whatever feels best for you today and close down the eyes.
Let's begin our practice today by taking some deep breaths together.
Inhale deeply through the nose and out through the nose.
In through the nose and out through the nose.
Take a big breath in and out.
And bring your awareness now to your heart.
Feel your heart beating.
Feel the rise and fall of your chest as you breathe in and out.
And become aware of any other sensations that you can feel within your body.
Perhaps you can feel your blood pulsing throughout your body.
Perhaps you can feel sensations in your stomach from eating or hunger.
And perhaps you can feel sensations in your mouth,
Your nose,
Your eyes.
Perhaps becoming aware of what's happening in your body without judgment.
Just simply observe.
Observe if there's any areas of discomfort or tension and allow those areas to relax.
Breathe into your body and allow yourself to sink further into relaxation.
Knowing that you are safe and protected in this space.
Bring your awareness now to your third eye located between the brows in the middle of your forehead.
Your third eye is a spinning disc of purple light.
And as you bring your awareness to the chakra,
You feel it starting to expand and glow brighter.
Your third eye blossoms and opens.
And you allow yourself to be transported to a beautiful place in your mind.
And above you,
You notice the stars twinkling in the night sky.
The night is still and the sky above you is so clear.
You've never seen the stars so clearly before.
They shine and they sparkle.
Giving some glimmers of hope on an otherwise completely dark night.
So despite the darkness,
You feel safe here.
You feel protected as you gaze up at the stars.
From this place of safety,
Consciously bring up your worst fear.
What would scare you the most?
What is the worst case scenario?
Visualize this fear.
But don't be afraid.
Because you are safe where you are and you can view this fear objectively.
It's time to face your fear.
So let that fear visualize in front of you now.
And now that you have a clear vision of this fear.
Realize that this is just in your mind.
As you look down at your hands,
You realize you have a shining white sword in your hands.
Shimmering under the light of the stars above you.
And you use this sword to disconnect yourself from your fears.
You slice the cord that's connecting you to this fear in front of you.
Breaking the connection,
Freeing yourself from this fear.
And as you release this fear from your life,
You feel a sense of freedom.
You feel the weight of burdens being lifted off you.
And you begin to feel joy and happiness.
Because you now understand that your fear cannot hurt you.
That you can control your fear.
And you always have this ability to release your fear.
When you feel that you have finished releasing this fear,
You can bring your awareness back into your physical body.
Moving your fingers a little stretch and a wriggle,
Moving your toes.
Take a big breath in through the nose and out through the nose.
And as you come back into your physical body,
You can open your eyes.
