Soft inhale,
Relax,
Exhale out.
Let yourself arrive into your body.
Bringing all of your attention from the outer world into this moment,
Into your earthy suit.
With every breath in,
Bring more of yourself into this space.
The parts of you that you approve of,
The parts of you that you reject.
The parts of you that you want to improve and the parts of you that you feel like is perfect.
The parts of you that you reject so deeply that you don't even know they exist.
And the parts of you that you're proud of yourself and what you're building and what you're creating.
Allow all of you arrive into your body.
Allow your body to become an ant for the polarities that you are.
For the polarities that this human life represents.
And with every breath in and out,
Can you soften into your breath just a little bit more.
Allow your inhale to become so soft that there is no movement in the shoulders or the neck.
And surrender to your exhale so effortlessly that all you need to do is witness.
Retrieving all your energy back to your body.
As if you're closing the curtains to the outer world in this moment.
And you're going to your inner world.
Arriving to this quiet moment.
Following your breath back to your body and allowing your mind to return back to your body where it belongs.
Whether you're seated or lying down,
Bring your attention to the base of your spine.
Where your spine connects to your pelvis.
And redirect your breath to that area.
As if that part of your spine has the body and the heart and the lungs of its own,
Let it breathe.
With every breath into that area,
Feel yourself arriving deeper to the ground.
And allowing any tension in your lower back,
In your mid back,
Melts down to the ground beneath you.
With every breath in and out,
You create a ball of breath,
A cushion of breath.
And it begins growing from the base of your spine and expanding to the sides.
Becomes a kind of cushion that you never even knew you needed.
That gives you the support in all the right places around your lower back,
Around your mid back,
Your upper back and your neck.
So feeling this ball of breath growing and expanding throughout your back body.
Creating a support for you that is fluffy,
That is supportive,
That locates in all the right places.
And when you feel that expansion and that support behind you,
I want you to lean back just a little bit more.
As if you're letting yourself go to the support.
And continue focusing on your breath.
And as you're leaning back,
Can you let go of your grip?
Can you soften your grip?
We start with the physical grip.
Can you relax your thumbs,
Relax your fingers?
And where does this grip also reflect in your mental space and in your life?
What is it that you're gripping hard on?
And can you lean back a little bit and let it go?
And allowing that softening in the grip,
Move up to your forearms,
To your elbows,
To your shoulders,
To your traps,
To your neck,
To your jaw.
To your eyes,
Your forehead.
Allowing that softening travel down into your throat,
Into your heart space,
Into your gut,
Into your belly.
Down into the depth of your pelvic floor,
Your butt muscles,
Down through your legs,
Your knees,
Your shins,
Your calves,
Ankles and feet.
Can you find it in your body to lean back and to rest a little bit deeper on that ball of cushion behind you?
And can you anchor a little bit deeper into the ground through your butt muscles and through your pelvic floor?
As if you're creating a deep anchor into the ground.
And you're creating a deep portal into Mother Earth.
A portal that you get to surrender all the burden,
All the tension,
All the anxiety,
All the feeling of doubt.
Anything that is coming up for you that takes the best out of you,
That takes the presence out of you,
Steals your joy.
Allow this portal to be your portal of surrender.
Just giving all that to Mother Earth.
And in return,
Feel a beautiful,
Nourishing,
Mothering energy entering your body through the same portal.
Moving through your legs,
Up into your pelvic floor,
Into your belly,
Into your torso,
Into your spine,
All the way up to your arms,
To your chest,
To your neck,
To your face.
Lean back and allow yourself to receive this nourishment.
Can you receive?
Can you remain still for long enough in receivership?
Can you take a moment from doing into the stillness of receivership?
Now return back to the rhythm of your breath.
Bring your attention back,
Closely observing the ebbs and flows of your own breath.
And in that,
Can you find a little bit of a length in the spine?
As if there's a pull above you,
Pulling you up towards the skies as you're remaining anchored into the ground.
With every breath in,
Anchor deeper into the ground.
And with every exhale,
Find that length,
Giving yourself permission to take up space.
Inhale,
Anchor deeper into the ground.
Exhale,
Find that length in the body.
Take up space in your body,
In your room,
In your own life.
Breathe in,
Anchor,
Exhale.
Give yourself permission to take up bigger spaces.
Continue allowing the grip to remain soft.
Because your breath is enough.
Your life force is enough.
You are enough.
