How to do EFT tapping.

In this audio,

I will show you how to do EFT tapping.

Perhaps you want to tap along to one of my audios but you're not sure what to do,

Or maybe you're just curious about what it is and what it entails.

In my tapping formula,

I like to use the karate chop point and eight tapping points,

But don't worry if none of this makes sense to you yet.

Some practitioners use different tapping points,

So what I'll teach you will also help you with other tapping audios.

I won't get into all the details in this audio about what EFT is and where it came from.

I do explain that in my tapping courses here on Insight Timer if you're curious.

This audio is just to teach you quickly the tapping points,

So let's begin.

The first tapping point is the karate chop point.

As this is an audio,

I will do my very best to explain everything in detail as this is much harder without a visual cue.

Anyway,

If you've ever seen a Jackie Chan movie,

And not to sound stereotypical,

But when he hits the block and goes,

Hee-yah,

Or whatever,

That point of the hand that hits the block is called the karate chop point.

So you want to find your pinky finger now and trace down that finger to the fleshy side part of your hand where if you were to hit a block during an intense karate session,

That part is your karate chop point.

You would tap here with your other hand,

Using your four main fingers,

Splayed across the fleshy part of your hand.

And when you tap,

You don't want to tap too quickly or too hard,

It's a gentle yet firm tap.

And you might also feel some tingling sensations as well,

That's a good sign,

It's working for you.

So that is the first tapping point.

Then you would move to the eight tapping points,

So follow along after me and here we go.

The first tapping point is the start of your eyebrow.

You want to use your two piece fingers,

So your first two fingers,

And you can start to tap where the beginning of your eyebrow starts,

So either side of your third eye.

You can use both hands or one hand,

Honestly whatever suits you.

The second tapping point is your temples,

Or the side of the eye.

Again you can use your two piece fingers on either side and begin to tap on your temples.

The third tapping point is underneath the eye.

Now it's not directly underneath your eye as that is a very sensitive part of your face,

It's just a couple of inches below your eye.

So again you can use your two piece fingers or all your fingers here,

Whatever feels good to you and start to tap.

The fourth tapping point,

Now you only need to use one hand for this,

It's underneath the nose,

So you can begin to tap there,

It's between your nose and your lips.

The fifth tapping point is the chin.

Again you only need one hand for this,

So now you can start tapping on your chin.

The sixth tapping point,

You might need both hands for this.

I'd like you to locate your collarbone.

Great,

Now move your hands down below just a few inches.

There's a fleshy part here,

It can be quite a sensitive part and you want to start tapping there.

The seventh tapping point,

I'd like you to bring one hand underneath your armpit,

It doesn't matter which side.

Now move that hand down just a few inches,

So if you were wearing a bra it's where your bra line would be,

Or if you're a guy just take a guess,

And it's a few inches below your armpit so you can start tapping there.

And the eighth and final tapping point,

You can use both hands,

Is the top of the head,

So where your crown would sit,

Not too far forward and not too far back,

And you can tap here now.

And then you would go back to the eyebrow point and then move through the eight tapping points.

I'll just quickly go over them again,

Feel free to follow along or just listen and see which one works for you.

So we have the eyebrow point,

The side of the eye or the temples,

Underneath the eye,

Under the nose,

The chin,

The fleshy part of your collarbone,

Underneath the armpit,

And the top of the head.

That is the sequence you will follow during my tappings,

But I also know a lot of EFT tapping practitioners use that sequence as well.

So now you know all the tapping points,

You can feel confident in starting one of my courses.

I have at the time of recording a 10-day gratitude EFT tapping course and a 7-day chakra healing course with EFT tapping,

And also a lot of audio tappings as well.

Thank you so much for tapping along.

If this is still very confusing,

Maybe check out a video online to get clear if you're more of a visual learner,

But this is all you need to know.

I also host live sessions on Insight Timer,

So if you find me in one of those sessions,

You can see the tapping points live.

I hope this audio helped and I can't wait to tap with you again soon.

This is a very helpful description of the taping points, but like she said in the recording, it can be good to attend a live event or go to a YouTube for a visual of the tapping points if you're not confident you're doing it right. I feel pretty comfortable with the description she gave in this verbal description.

I’m a visual learner so I was concerned I would need to see the movements but the tapping points were explained really well and I didn’t feel like I needed to visually see the explanation. Thank you for being clear in your instructions.
