This meditation uses affirmations to gently heal and balance the root chakra (the first major energy centre of the body). The root chakra is all about our safety, security and stability in the world. We need a solid foundation of safety and security, in our bodies and on the Earth from which to build everything else. Feeling safe and supported, here and now, is essential for our inner peace and happiness. This recording is designed to help you feel more grounded, supported, and strongly anchored in the present moment. If used daily for at least 21 days, the affirmations will create new neural pathways in the brain, and gently reprogram the subconscious mind to help foster thoughts and feelings of safety and security. Hello and welcome to this root chakra healing meditation.

My name is Heather and today we're going to be using affirmations to open and balance the root chakra to help you feel nice and safe,

Secure,

Grounded and present.

We need a solid foundation of safety and security in our bodies and on the earth from which to build everything else.

Feeling safe and supported here and now is essential for our inner peace and happiness.

You can listen to this track either during meditation or at any time as you go about your day.

A very powerful time to practice is first thing in the morning when you're just waking up or just before you drift off to sleep at night when your mind is naturally in a theta brain state and so particularly open to new suggestions.

But your subconscious mind is always listening and absorbing information so you don't need to pay close attention to my words unless you want to.

The affirmations will still have a powerful positive impact.

So let's get started.

I invite you to take a nice deep cleansing breath in through your nose and release it slowly as you do so letting go of anything that is not serving you right here right now.

Allow your shoulders to relax,

Relax all the tiny muscles in your face,

Your neck,

Ensure that your jaw is soft,

Loose,

Relaxed.

Relax your back,

Your stomach,

Your neck,

Arms heavy,

Loose,

Relaxed.

Bring your attention to your root chakra at the base of your spine and you might like to visualize a vortex of warm red light spinning in a clockwise direction here removing any blockages,

Any fears and doubts and helping you to connect more and more with the earth and with yourself.

More safe,

Secure,

Grounded and present.

In a moment I'll begin with the affirmations.

You don't need to repeat them,

You can just allow my words to wash over you and if you can connect with the feelings as if they were your own words and don't worry if some of the affirmations don't resonate to begin with.

That happens when there's a vibrational discord between our perception of reality and that which we're asking for.

The more you repeat this meditation the more these affirmations will begin to feel true for you as your reality gently aligns with your mindset.

I am here in my body and I am safe.

I feel safe,

Anchored and secure.

It's safe to be me.

It's safe to be in my body.

I accept and honor my incredible body and give thanks for all the ways it supports me.

I am grounded in mother earth.

I am stable and secure.

I am strong yet flexible.

I am open to change.

I am supported by the universe.

The universe meets all my needs with ease and grace.

I trust the universe.

I am provided for.

Abundance is my birthright.

I have all the money,

Resources and connections I need to be safe and secure.

I am supported by the earth.

I have a strong foundation of safety and security.

I am nurtured and protected.

I am grateful to call the earth my home.

I belong here.

I am one with the earth.

The universe wants me right here.

I know I am exactly where I'm meant to be.

I release the past and stand strongly rooted in my present.

I let go of any wanting to force the future and trust that everything is unfolding for my highest good in this moment.

I remind myself every day that I am safe now and I choose to nurture and care for myself.

I am healing and growing.

It's safe to relax and slow down.

It's safe to choose myself.

I deserve to feel safe and secure in my life.

I deserve to feel peace and joy.

I am open to peace and joy.

Now and in every moment.

I am centered and grounded.

I feel safe and peaceful.

It's safe to be me.

I am perfect exactly as I am.

I am here in the present moment and all is well.
