Good morning,
My name is Heather.
I'm so happy to be your guide for this morning meditation.
Thank you for being here.
The best time to do this meditation is when you're just waking up.
So maybe you're still lying comfortably in bed.
And if not,
Please just find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
Relax your shoulders,
Your back.
Relax all the little muscles in your face,
The muscles in and around your eyes,
Your forehead,
And just allow yourself to be present here in this moment with me.
It is a bright new day,
Full of possibility and potential.
As Maya Angelou so beautifully said,
This is a wonderful day.
I have never seen this one before.
And let's take a deep breath in and breathe out slowly.
We're going to do this together another couple of times.
So just take a nice deep breath in and a long slow breath out.
And one last time,
Feel that fresh life-giving air,
Breathe energy and vitality into your body.
And now just let your breathing return to a natural,
Easy,
Comfortable rhythm.
Now I'd like to invite you to choose a color that you'd like your day to be infused with.
Imagine this colored lights envelops you in warm protective layer that lets positive,
Supportive,
Loving energy in and keeps out any unwanted vibrations.
Maybe you choose a golden white light or a fresh spring green or an energizing bright yellow.
You can choose several colors if you like,
Or even a beautiful rainbow.
Just have some fun.
And if you're not a visual person,
Maybe your protective bubble could be made of a soothing,
Calming sound vibration instead.
Whatever makes you feel good is the right way for you.
And I'd like you to take a moment to think about your intention for today.
When we're setting intentions,
It's important to include how we would like to feel.
For example,
Instead of your intention being,
I'd like to work on my website,
A better one could be I'd like to feel inspired and motivated to create my beautiful website.
I'm going to leave you in silence for just a moment while you think about your intention or intentions for today.
Now I'm going to give you some gentle affirmations to help start your day in the best possible way.
You can just let your mind drift.
The words will enter your subconscious mind and help you to have a calm,
Peaceful day,
Even if you don't pay attention.
So just relax and let my words wash over you.
Just for today,
You allow yourself to let go of the past because you know that what's done cannot be changed.
You allow yourself to stop worrying about things outside of your control and you trust in a greater plan,
A higher power.
You are patient and you let what wants to unfold unfold at exactly the right time.
You trust that you are truly exactly where you're meant to be right now.
You choose to focus your attention on people,
Situations and things that you appreciate that bring you joy.
You allow yourself to say yes when something resonates with your spirit and you are strong enough to say no when it doesn't.
You recognize that everyone you interact with is doing their best with the level of consciousness they are currently at.
You listen to others with an open heart and respond with loving integrity.
You accept yourself exactly as you are right now in this moment.
You are enough.
You choose to love yourself today and every day because you know that you deserve your own love.
You are kind to yourself and speak to yourself as you would speak to your best friend or the person you love the most in this world.
You are compassionate towards this beautiful human that is you just showing up and doing their best every day.
You recognize that that is enough.
Just for today you allow your heart and soul to guide you and your lights to shine just a little brighter.
