Hello and welcome to your sleep meditation adventure on the Sleepy Safari.
All you need to do is relax your body and allow your imagination to take you to the most wonderful place.
Your very special Sleepy Safari is leaving soon,
So you better get ready.
Close your eyes and make sure you're really,
Really comfortable.
As you settle in,
You may think about which animals you wish to see.
Take a deep breath in and a calm breath out.
Again a big belly breath in and a long breath out.
As you continue to breathe,
You start to feel more and more relaxed.
Fantastic!
Your body feels all heavy and floppy now.
Now imagine you are standing on an African savanna land.
Imagine that there are sweeping plains all around you,
As far as you can see.
The orange sun is shining brightly.
The earth feels warm under your bare feet.
You feel yourself connecting to the land here.
And you are very excited,
Because you are here for your Sleepy Safari.
Suddenly you see a Jeep Land Cruiser driving towards you in a cloud of dust.
Can you see which colour this Jeep is?
As it gets closer and closer,
You realise it must be your tour guide coming to pick you up for your safari adventure.
This big car comes to a halt with dust swirling everywhere.
When you see who is driving,
You are very surprised.
There is a tiger behind the wheel with a safari hat.
He is wearing a Hawaiian shirt and binoculars around his neck.
He gives you a friendly smile and waves his paw to you.
He checks his clipboard and reads out your name,
And you smile and say yes.
The tiger leans over and pushes the door open for you to climb inside.
Your tiger tour guide drives you super fast across the savanna land.
He is very casual and easy going and lots of fun.
You sense that this is no ordinary safari.
And now he drives you up a grassy hill.
You wonder where he is leading you as there seems to be nothing around.
And now you see,
Over the rise,
From the top of the hill,
Is the most amazing scene in front of you.
There is a beautiful valley below.
With a river winding along and into a big blue pond.
Huge baobab trees dot the landscape.
Holding water in their bulging trunks.
There are grasslands.
And also a green forest area,
Waiting for you to explore it.
You feel so peaceful here.
It is already lots of fun to be here in Africa.
Your tiger tour guide grins at you and looks pretty impressed with himself.
He tells you that this is the secret reserve that only the animals know about.
You feel so lucky to be here.
Two friendly elephants greet you at the top of the hill.
One for you and one for Tiger.
You climb onto your new elephant friend and hold onto a tuft of hair on its back.
Your body wobbles and jiggles all over the place as the elephant takes huge steps and walks slowly down the hill slope.
Now you are down in the valley.
You climb off your elephant and feel very excited and very relaxed.
All of your favourite animals are right here in their natural habitats.
Now is your special time to meet the animals.
This is your very own sleepy safari.
And your tiger tour guide is right here with you.
You may wish to visit the lions who are relaxing on their rocks and ask them what it's like to be king of the land.
You can go running with the cheetahs.
Or you may wish to go swinging on vines with the cheeky monkeys.
You could climb trees and help the tall giraffes find the very best leaves.
And you can visit the hippopotamus in its muddy water hole.
There are meerkats,
Zebras and gazelles here.
And every animal you wish to see.
You have some time now to explore the valley and meet all of the animals your heart desires.
When my voice returns,
You will feel even more sleepy and be ready for your happiest dreams.

Very sleepy as the stars sparkle above you The valley starts to fade as you get sleepier and sleepier It is time now to return home to bed You wave goodbye to the animals of the secret valley And to your tiger tour guide who waves his paw to you and smiles You can now feel that you are in your warm,
