Imagine travelling aboard a most peculiar and enchanted form of transport,

The magical sleep train to outer space.

In this fun and relaxing sleep meditation story,

If you want to explore the most exciting,

Marvellous and fantastical of places you can possibly imagine,

Then make sure you're all cosy and comfortable and ready to close your eyes and dream.

Because this very old fashioned,

Yet super magical train secretly invites sleepy kids who use their imaginations for dream adventures high in the night skies and beyond.

This is your magical sleep train journey and you get to decide what you would most like to see.

Never think about what you would like to explore.

The moon,

The stars,

The planets,

All of them,

You're in for a relaxing and amazing adventure.

Now imagine a platform hovering high in the night sky on a long fluffy white cloud.

This platform is very simple,

Just an old fashioned lamp post with a glowing light floating in the night sky and a mystical cloud,

Long and soft and just big enough for a train to rest on.

To most people looking up from earth,

This platform just looks like a strangely long cloud.

But you know that it is actually magical and its mystical fluffiness keeps the secret space train hidden in the sky.

Now imagine suddenly,

As fast as the eye can see,

Through the night sky,

A steam train bends around on a tilt and flies in to stop with a lurch and floats on the platform ready for its passengers.

Your heart is full of happiness and excitement as you realize this is the real magical sleep train.

This is not a myth,

Not a legend,

But a real secret train to take you to incredible destinations.

A short plump conductor with a mustache and a waistcoat swings out from the front of the train and welcomes you all aboard now.

You step inside as he comes through the cabins to check that you and everyone else are seated and comfortable and have good views out the windows.

As you watch the conductor closely with his thick little hands and round waist coated belly,

You notice with surprise that he is actually a gnome.

Even though his face looks quite gruff because he doesn't like dilly dallying just like any old gnome,

He is actually very kind hearted and just wants to make sure everyone is safe for the train to depart precisely on time according to his fob watch.

You settle in happily and relax because your gnome conductor blows his official whistle and makes an announcement that the most important thing is that you are all feeling dreamy as the train only takes off when everyone is in that beautiful state of being half asleep and half awake.

Suddenly you feel a tremble and a lurch and the sleepy space train takes off faster than you could possibly imagine,

Streaking through the night sky and wrapping around the moon.

This train is pure magic and is so much fun.

You sense that anything is possible and anywhere you wish to go in your heart,

You may go there with ease and fun and joy.

The train twists and turns and dips back around the moon again like a roller coaster ride which is smooth and safe and fun and miraculous.

Your first destination will actually be the moon.

The train hovers magically just above the moon surface on some enchanted moon mist as you all hop off happily.

The surface is so grey and full of round craters and you all feel so light and airy because less gravity is so much fun.

You and your passenger friends go moon walking,

Moon bouncing and moon tumbling happily and freely.

Your gnome conductor blows his official whistle and you all bounce back onto the train,

Full of anticipation for what you will see next.

With a tilt and a wobble,

The sleep train suddenly takes off,

Even faster this time and again you are soaring through space.

Every part of you feels so relaxed and free and you are tremendously excited to explore even more.

The magical sleep train stops and hovers now in the middle of space on a mystical cloudy puff.

You wonder why you've stopped here as you look out the window into the darkness and now you can see tiny orange balls of light moving rapidly towards you.

You realise with excitement it's a comet shower.

You all jump off the train with joy in your hearts as the bright orange comets fly past the train as one by one you leap onto your very own comets to ride through space.

You may ride your comets by standing up on them and surfing or by sitting down on them and riding them around like a broomstick.

You can tilt and turn and dip and dive and go fast or slow as you are completely in control of your comet.

You notice the gnome conductor is watching you all to make sure you are safe as you play on your comets and you glimpse a hint of a smile on his gruff little face as he sees you all having such marvellous fun.

After some time you board the sleep train again and take off smoothly as it glides out through space and into the middle of the beautiful Milky Way galaxy.

There are so many more colours up here than you possibly imagined of glowing stardust in blues and purples and reds and pinks and turquoise and greens,

So much stardust shimmering everywhere and you think this is just about the most magnificent and peaceful place you have ever seen.

It is so quiet,

Not a noise at all,

So your ears can fully relax here now too.

You can fully sense such a calm and loving energy here as you feel cradled in the love of the universe.

Every now and again shooting stars fly past and you can reach out and catch hold of these stars which are no bigger than your hand and make very special wishes.

And then release them to flutter about and then fly again through the cosmos in their beautiful starry streaks of light energy,

Sharing your wishes with the open,

Mystical,

Loving universe.

This is your magical sleep train adventure and you get to decide what you would most like to see next.

The Gnome Conductor may take you to visit Mars,

The red planet,

Or to discover what secrets hide in the mysterious moons of Jupiter,

Or the rings of Saturn,

Or you may wish to continue enjoying the peace of the Stardust Galaxy with all of the shooting stars.

Keep exploring for as long as you wish and when my voice returns you will be ready for your happiest,

Dreamiest sleep.

After having so much fun and feeling so happy and free,

You know that it is time now to return home to your warm,

Cosy bed.

Your Gnome Conductor blows his official whistle and you all board the magical sleep train as it takes off,

Winding and streaking through space.

And in no time at all,

It is hovering again at its enchanted platform on the long,

Mystical cloud in the night sky.

You wave goodbye to your Gnome Conductor as he gives you a gruff,

Happy little smile,

Which makes you smile to yourself as you float back home and into your warm bed.

You are feeling so happy and dreamy because you know that you can do anything in the whole friendly,

Open universe.

As you drift now into your deepest sleep and most blissful dreams,

You feel so special and so loved because you know that you are a wonderful child of the universe and you can enjoy fun adventures on the magical sleep train.

This meditation is about a very magical sleep train and the train can’t start till everyone is half asleep.The conductor is also
a gnome! “He looks quite gruff cuz he doesn’t like dilly-dallying but he is very kind hearted.” In the meditation the 1st stop is the moon 🌙🤗👏🏼. My daughter will listen to this every night to fall asleep and she basically can’t sleep without it. I also really enjoy 😊 it just calms me down and makes me feel just 😌relaxed.If you have this app and you use stories to fall asleep I really recommend this meditation!
