Well,
I hope you like the idea of time travel,
Because that's exactly what's in store for you tonight.
A most magical and mysterious trip back in time to when the dinosaurs ruled the earth.
Because there is certainly a sense of adventure in the air.
A prehistoric bit of mystical dinosaur fun at play here.
Can you feel it?
You were being summoned as a friend of the dinosaurs to visit them way back in history when they roamed the earth by day and relaxed with their rumbling dino snores by night.
Because these incredible creatures don't like to be forgotten or to be remembered only as fossils.
So they have chosen you to meet with them on an amazing adventure.
And then you will fall fast asleep,
All safe and sound,
Surrounded by these gigantic dinosaurs and hearing their great big dino snores.
So just snuggle in for your dreamiest journey,
All the way back to the Triassic,
Jurassic,
Or perhaps the Cretaceous period in our earth's history.
And you may imagine what the planet looked like back then.
Just nature,
With no buildings anywhere.
And superflora,
Huge exotic plants with massive drooping flowers.
And tall,
Thick trees,
And ferns much bigger than the ones you're used to.
Even though you know lots about dinosaurs,
This is all so new to you.
And you are feeling as if you are in a happy dream of brilliant discoveries,
Just like an explorer in the legends of old.
Because you are an explorer tonight,
As you dream and learn just how it was to live like a dinosaur.
And you may now imagine a pair of binoculars have appeared around your neck,
Which are very useful for spotting animals from a distance.
And to use these enchanted binoculars,
You must close your eyes so well,
Relaxing your eyelids and enjoying this lovely darkness.
And suddenly you realise you are actually standing here on the ancient earth.
On a huge rock,
As you feel this smooth,
Warm stone beneath your bare feet.
How incredible.
But all of a sudden this rock starts to move,
And now you are gliding through the forest on the back of a massive dinosaur,
With a huge and very long neck.
You catch your balance as you look around in amazement.
Because this dinosaur munches on leaves from the highest branches of the trees,
As it smiles down at you now,
And you recognise it is a Brachiosaurus.
And it stoops down and swallows some stones from the ground,
Which is good for dinosaur digestion apparently.
The Brachiosaurus blinks and smiles at you,
And seems happy to have a little human friend on its back.
You give it a gentle pat,
As it glides its heavy body through the leafy tropical forest,
With thumping footsteps.
And you sit back and think to yourself,
How surprisingly relaxing this feels.
And now you look around through your binoculars,
Across the land,
And up into the blue sky above.
And you see a pterodactyl flying straight towards you.
It swoops down and snatches you off the back of your Brachiosaurus friend,
Now flying with you high in the sky.
As you are held here in the clutches of this mighty pterodactyl,
It is so gentle that you begin to understand that this is a friendly flying dinosaur,
Who simply wishes to show you around.
And so you relax here,
In its safe and strong claws,
Circling around in the sky with the very best pterodactyls eye view of the prehistoric land below.
And it spreads its immense wings,
With a wingspan so wide you feel so powerful to fly with this incredible creature.
Feeling the air rush past you,
And the breeze blowing through your hair,
Together you fly faster and faster.
And it is such marvellous fun.
Flying in the sky,
Pteranodons are also soaring about close by.
And you look below to the wide open plains,
And so many dinosaur species are roaming about freely.
And you spot a stegosaurus group,
With their spiky club like tails.
You see skinny velociraptors darting about,
And running over hills.
You notice tall diplodocus,
With their long necks,
Reaching for food high in the green trees.
And triceratops,
With three bony spikes on their heads,
Are climbing over rocks.
And you even observe plesiosaurs,
In a big blue lake below.
There's massive reptiles dipping and diving,
And swimming about with ease.
And there is even a volcanic mountain,
With smoke rising in the distance.
And now you notice the sun is setting on the horizon,
And it will be dark very soon.
And so the dinosaurs are now preparing to rest and go to sleep.
And you are also starting to feel very tired on your amazing prehistoric adventure.
And so this friendly pterodactyl,
Who gave you the best joy flight tour,
Soars down,
Down,
Down,
And comes to land very smoothly on the ground below,
At the base of a rocky mountain.
Feeling so tired and so grateful,
You reach out and pat the fluffy tufts on its bumpy skin to say thank you.
And now you take a good look around at the view,
And observe lots of big boulders and stones on the mountainside here.
And as you look through your binoculars,
You see something round and glowing,
And it appears to be very close to you.
So you put the binoculars down and see this glowing round shape is actually an eye,
Which you now see belongs to a huge head with spiky sharp teeth of a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
But you feel surprisingly safe,
Because you understand that this is a friendly T-Rex.
He is just smiling at you so happily,
With his rather goofy,
Big and toothy T-Rex grin.
Those Tyrannosaurus Rex are known as the King of the Lizards,
And you can understand why,
As he is so very mighty and terribly impressive to look at.
But now you become aware there is more than one,
As more and more dinosaurs emerge from behind the big rocks and huge stones here.
Wow,
There is a whole pack of T-Rex here.
You are now part of a T-Rex family,
As they all grin with their huge mouths and wave with their little hands,
Because you are their very special human guest from the future.
And you feel so very welcome here.
And as the sun has now almost fully set,
It is that snoozy time to sleep.
And so Momma T-Rex and the T-Rex kids find you a smooth place to rest between the stones.
Little Papa T-Rex checks that it is safe and takes one last look for predators.
And you are interested to see these sleeping T-Rex settle down on their haunches,
With their belly and chest flat to the ground,
A bit like lazy,
Calm sleeping dogs.
And you love to see them all curled up to tuck their toothy muzzles against their sides,
With their heavy tails wrapped around for extra comfort and safety.
And here you are,
Just like a Tyrannosaurus Rex,
Ready to fall asleep fast,
With Papa T-Rex and all of the T-Rex kids,
And right next to Momma T-Rex,
Because with her fearsome grin,
Momma T-Rex must be one of the most protective mothers of all the animals.
And so you feel incredibly lucky,
Snuggling up next to her here,
Knowing that she will take very good care of you.
But the snoozing,
Oh the snoring,
These dino snores rumble across the rocks.
These dino snores echo through the land.
And you smile to yourself,
Because even when they are sleeping,
The T-Rex are the most fearsome of all dinosaurs,
Because of their rumbling,
Grumbling,
Whistling dino snores.
And part of you wants to join in,
With some loud and funny dino snores of your own.
Or perhaps you are already dreaming,
And this is all in your imagination.
But either way,
You feel so deeply relaxed,
And so special and safe to be here sleeping,
Alongside the dinosaurs in prehistoric times.
And as you dream and sleep,
And snooze,
And snore,
And dino snore,
With pure joy in your heart,
You feel perfectly at home here,
Amongst the T-Rex family,
And their relaxing,
Rumbling dino snores.
And so as you rest and relax deeper and deeper,
Into your lovely ancient sleep,
You enjoy sweet dinosaur dreams.
And so as you rest and relax deeper and deeper,
Into your lovely ancient sleep,
You enjoy sweet dinosaur dreams.
And so as you rest and relax deeper and deeper,
Into your lovely ancient sleep,
You enjoy sweet dinosaur dreams.
And so as you rest and relax deeper and deeper,
Into your lovely ancient sleep,
You enjoy sweet dinosaur dreams.
And so as you rest and relax deeper and deeper,
Into your lovely ancient sleep,
You enjoy You You You You
