This meditation is designed to help you to enjoy the sunshine.
Perhaps in the morning,
On your morning walk,
Or enjoying the morning sun on your balcony or in your courtyard,
Or perhaps finding a spot in the park at lunch just to sit for a few minutes and enjoy the sunshine.
So positioning yourself towards the sun and finding a comfortable position,
Feeling supported by the ground beneath you.
And when you're ready,
Gently closing your eyes,
Bringing your attention to your breath,
Not trying to change it,
But just being with your breath,
With the gentle rise and fall of your body,
Feeling supported by the earth beneath you,
And just becoming aware of yourself sitting here.
Bringing your attention to the sensation of the sun on your skin,
Perhaps the sunshine on your face,
On your chest,
On your hands,
Just feeling your body.
And then,
Just being in the sun,
Being bathed in the sunlight,
Enjoying the warmth,
The warmth and energy.
And with each breath,
Taking the sunshine in.
And then,
Just being in the sun,
Enjoying the sun,
Enjoying the sun,
Enjoying the sun,
Enjoying the sun,
Enjoying the sun,
Enjoying the sun,
Allowing it to fill your body,
To to warm your heart and to give you energy for the day ahead.
Just opening to the sunshine,
Allowing it to warm and relax you.
Just enjoying this radiance for a few more seconds,
Perhaps bringing a slight smile to your face.
And in your own good time,
Taking this warmth and radiance back with you into your day.
