Sometimes in the midst of busyness the best gift you can give yourself is to come home to yourself for a sacred pause.

Just taking some moments out of your day to pause just for you to allow yourself to come home to yourself to become grounded in the present moment to be present with just you.

So when you're ready gently closing your eyes and taking a deep breath in allowing your breath to become an anchor for your attention.

As you breathe in just pause for a moment before allowing yourself to exhale allowing the breath to take with it any tension that's stored up in your body and then allowing yourself to return to your natural breathing rate feeling the rise and fall of your breath allowing your breath to help you remain in presence to be here in this moment with yourself.

Sensing your body as it sits and rests bringing your attention to your whole body continuing to breathe deeply senses awake receptive and present.

And as you sit here quietly start letting go of any tension in your body trying to relax letting your shoulders drop and feeling the ground beneath your feet.

Noticing where your hands are resting allowing yourself to be present with your body in this moment.

And as you sit here connected present with yourself take a moment to gently ask yourself how am I?

What do I need right now?

Simply noticing what comes up for you in this moment without responding to it.

Just simply making a mental note of what arises to this question.

Taking the time now to thank yourself for taking this pause for allowing yourself to come home to yourself and now connecting with your intentions for the rest of the day making a note of what it is they would like to take with you as your day unfolds.

And then when you're ready becoming aware of your surroundings noting what sensations are present for you expanding your awareness to the space around you and as you open your eyes taking this awareness with you into the rest of your day.
