So begin by finding a really comfortable position in your body.
It might be seated or laying down.
Just letting yourself settle,
Perhaps closing the eyes.
Just giving yourself some nice clearing breaths.
Paying attention to the exhale,
Allowing it to release tension,
Empty stress from the body.
Feeling the inhale expand the body and again exhaling creating that sense of release.
And as you find this comfortable position,
Just start to feel and become aware of your inner organs,
Particularly those organs housed in the torso.
You might like to use touch,
Placing a palm to the belly or maybe hand to heart.
Just feeling where intuition wants to guide your hands.
And then in whatever position you are in you might like to invite just a gentle rocking or swaying or just a shimmy through the body.
Let these moves emanate from the centre,
Rippling outward toward the outer shell of your body.
Starting to let the inner world be felt.
As we come into this Cancer New Moon meditation,
We can really attune ourselves to what cancer season is all about,
Which is that which lives beneath the surface.
And the associated element is water,
So as you become more and more aware of the inner landscape of your body,
Can you bring a sense of fluidity,
Maybe noticing the flowing nature of your breath.
As the inhale seamlessly flows to the exhale.
The exhale flows into your next inhale.
It is not the season to let our inner waters lay stagnant.
Shifts in growth and personal evolution are inevitable.
Maybe old memories that lay dormant deep in the subconscious and unconscious mind.
That will likely be felt very clearly this season.
Perhaps they are triggered.
However you are feeling these memories,
Just know they are arising for a reason.
Begging for your attention.
A time to review what lives in the deep waters of your being.
And if you are experiencing old memories of pain,
Pleasure,
Sadness or joy,
Can you glance directly at these memories,
Can you feel these feelings and can you welcome them in with arms outstretched like a mother about to cradle her child.
So is the sign of the mother,
The nurturer,
The home.
As you ride the waves of your own emotions and as you look at the unconscious patterns in your behaviour,
You take on this nurturing and caring role,
Addressing yourself and others around you with kindness,
Compassion and letting the body feel safe to create whatever relief it needs.
Without resistance,
Without suppressing,
Just feeling your feelings in order to free them.
In the position you have rested in your body here,
Can you let yourself soften into gravity and as you do show kindness and gratitude towards your physical body,
Your home in this lifetime.
Nurturing the body with your breath.
The body's one goal here on earth is to keep you safe and balanced.
And when given this time and space,
The body will take you back to homeostasis.
So spending time now just scanning the body.
Maybe certain areas are calling for more attention.
If that's the case,
Just allow your awareness and your breath to go there.
More and more you can release rigidity,
Adjusting so that you truly feel safe and comfortable in the home of your body.
When you sense into the lower belly,
Sense into the reproductive organs,
The capacity of your lungs,
Over the front side of the body,
All these soft vulnerable areas releasing any sensations of gripping.
And as the breath is gentle,
Allow the skin to feel gentle.
Noticing breath gently entering into the body,
As if entering and exiting through the pores of the skin.
Allow the whole body to be enlivened with every breath.
Experience a sense of radiance as you exhale.
Shining softly from within.
The truest version of you.
You can visualize the body surrounded in a healing white light.
Letting this bright white light of an aura expand out in all directions,
Cocooning your body.
You may like to visualize the next phase of your life.
You can project out perhaps a month from today or to a date that feels significant or appropriate to you.
Feel this white light protecting you,
Attracting all that is good,
Guiding you towards your highest good.
Any intention that you would like to plant deep in the pool of your consciousness.
Allow that intention to arise here.
Letting it be heartfelt.
In whatever way here,
Expressing gratitude to your body,
Be it through breath or touch or sound.
Acknowledging that this body will ensure that in all your life experiences,
Through all your felt sensations and intuitive knowings,
Through all the twists and turns and ups and downs of life.
You will be safe,
You will be loved,
You will be held.
You may wish to deepen your breath as you really let this outer shell of the body completely wake up and feel the ripples from within,
Allowing any messages to arise,
Any felt sensations.
