Start by finding a really comfortable position.
You may wish to lay down or find a seat in which your spine feels reasonably straight so that you have this beautiful central channel for your breath to flow freely within.
So whether laying on your back or seated,
Just visualizing the central channel of the body,
Your spinal column,
Feeling lovely and long,
Inviting in a sense of spaciousness.
Taking any final adjustments that you need before you get really inward with your attention.
So maybe there's a few wriggles with the jaw or shrugs of the shoulders.
Any final little maneuvers so that you can really start to settle and feel a sense of grounding.
Paying attention to the parts of your body that are connected to the support beneath you.
Feel as though those parts of the body are getting a little heavier.
Feel the weight of your body be evenly distributed through these parts connected to the earth.
And then allowing energy to rise up from these parts,
Inviting in a sense of expansion into the body in your inhale breath.
If it's comfortable allow the eyes to close or simply maintain a soft gaze.
Relaxing space between the brows and around the temples.
Relaxing the cheeks.
Become aware of the tongue's position in the mouth.
And allow it to gently part away from the teeth.
This may cause the lips to slightly part,
It may not.
As you continue to relax the tongue,
Notice a softening effect through the throat passage.
Continue to notice the softening work down through the body,
Through the digestive tract.
Feeling the abdomen soften,
The pelvis relax.
Continuing to notice the tongue soft in the mouth.
As if warm honey is just dripping all the way from the throat down through the abdomen to the pelvis.
Feel the sense of inner softening.
Feeling a sense of receptivity as you come home to yourself.
Feeling safe and secure within the structure of yourself.
Feeling really anchored and supported by the earth and by your very body that carries you through the day to day.
This physical body,
The vehicle for your soul.
Finding a sense of gratitude for the body.
Feeling into all the sensory delights it has.
The beautiful scents that you can smell.
The flavours that you can taste.
The visions that you can see.
The touch that you can feel.
The sounds that you can hear.
The sign of Taurus is all about the physical,
The sensory.
Finding a sense of security.
A sense of stability and connection to the material world,
The earth and the body.
It's also a sign very connected to the jaw and the tongue.
So once more paying attention to the tongue and ensuring it remains nice and relaxed.
Really feeling into this earthly,
Grounded sense within the body.
Feeling into the subtle,
Pleasurable sensations,
Perhaps noticing the breath,
Its warm flow in and out of the nostrils.
As you really allow your awareness to land deeper and deeper inside.
As you get more and more grounded at the very centre of your being.
Notice if there is an intention you would like to set for the month ahead.
Perhaps it is something to do with the material world,
To do with the body.
Maybe something that relates to strength and grounding.
Something with a Taurean quality.
Can imagine planting that seed of intention deep within this fertile soil of the body-mind.
Really begin to embody this intention using the senses.
Starting to embody and visualise this intention.
It's a juicy experience inside.
Really savouring the meaning of this intention for you.
Feel the vibrancy of the intention permeate the inner soil.
Trust that this month you will receive according to this intention.
Allow yourself to savour your experiences,
Indulge your senses.
Allow yourself to feel fully alive in your body.
You can remain meditating on this intention as long as you wish,
As long as the body desires.
Namaste.
