While breathing practices can make you feel more calm and more relaxed,
They also have the power to do exactly the opposite,
To shift you into a more energized,
More focused,
More productive state of being.
By intentionally adjusting the flow of the air that is entering into and leaving your lungs,
The pattern,
The rhythm of your breath can transform your mood,
Can transform your thoughts,
And ultimately transform your life.
Let's practice.
Please come to any comfortable seat.
Let the back body be long and straight and upright,
And allow your eyelids to close down.
We'll start by taking a cleansing breath in through your nose,
And a long exhale out through the mouth.
For this breath work,
We will take two breaths in through the nose quickly,
Sharp and short,
And one long exhale through the mouth.
It'll sound like this.
Here we go.
We'll move through this together in three,
Two,
One.
Drop your shoulders down away from your ears,
And float here in the fullness for a moment.
