The prayer expresses a wish for presence, it seeks courage and strength to face the day and the wisdom to make wise decisions. Dear friends,
As we awake to the light of yet another new day,
Our voices enable creation itself to express gratitude for the wonder of this amazing gift.
So we say,
As I wake to greet this new day,
I am filled with gratitude for the gift of existence.
I give thanks for the opportunity to experience life,
To learn,
To grow and to connect with the world around me.
As I move through this day,
May I find guidance and inspiration to live mindfully and with intention.
My wish is to be fully present in each moment,
To appreciate the beauty and the wonder of the world and to cherish the people and the relationships in my life.
I seek strength and courage to face with grace and resilience any challenges that may arise,
As I know they likely will.
May I find the wisdom to make wise decisions and to act with compassion,
Kindness and love towards myself and others.
Let me renew my resolve to use my gifts and talents to make a positive impact on the world,
To serve others and to leave this world a better place than I found it.
I express gratitude for the blessings of this new day,
For the opportunity it gives me to grow and evolve and for the love and the support of those around me.
May I live this day with purpose,
Meaning and joy.
