Hello and welcome.
Thank you for joining me.
Today I'm going to share with you a really powerful somatic release technique that helps activate the parasympathetic nervous system and reduce stress.
You can do this technique as many times as you like throughout the day to create beautiful pockets of peace.
So first I invite you to get into a comfortable position,
Lying down,
Seated,
Or standing.
And then you're going to find a spot in front of you to rest your eyes.
Let them relax and take a few deep breaths in and out.
Now,
While keeping your head facing forward,
I invite you to take your gaze and bring it all the way to the right.
Almost straining your eyes,
Hold this gaze until you yawn.
This is an indicator that your body is relaxing.
Now face back in the center relax your gaze and keeping your head facing forward,
Bring your gaze all the way to the left.
Holding it,
Almost straining your eyes and holding it until that yawn releases.
Now bring your gaze back forward,
Centering grounding,
Relaxing and now you can look all the way up to the sky to your third eye,
To your crown,
Holding that until you feel another release.
And relax back into the center,
Finding your spot.
And now you can look down holding that gaze until you feel yourself relax or yawn and return back to the center.
Thank you for joining me and have a beautiful day.
