Good evening and welcome back to another meditation.
As you get yourself prepared for some nice rejuvenating sleep,
I want you to get as cozy and comfortable as you possibly can.
You don't have to be lying flat on your back,
But just get into any position that just feels best for you.
You know how you like to sleep,
So take this time to get comfy.
And once you arrive there,
Let's start to take some deep breaths,
Inhaling all the way in.
And as you exhale,
Let the day just wash away.
Let it go.
Inhale all the way back in,
A little bit deeper than last time.
And as you exhale,
Release all the air in your belly.
And one more cleansing breath,
All the way in.
And now I invite you to return to your normal breath,
Noticing gently the inhales,
Any pauses,
And your exhales.
Using this time to just get a little closer with your body,
Leaving the day where it was,
And just being fully immersed into right here and right now.
Let's do a gentle scan of the body,
Noticing if you're holding on to tension,
Maybe in your chest,
Maybe your belly or your legs.
Gently scan,
And without force,
Invite in ease and let it go.
And now I invite you to feel the cushion beneath you,
Noticing your body's connection and accepting that no matter how much you let go,
You will still be safe,
You will still be supported.
So you can let all of it wash away,
And you will still have the support that you need.
And now I invite you to feel the cushion beneath you.
Bring your awareness to any blankets or covers over your body,
An added layer of protection,
Comfort,
And safety.
Notice how it feels brushing against your skin,
And breathe with that,
Allowing your breath and your awareness to lead as one,
Together as they unite throughout your body,
Helping you relax and rest with ease.
And now I invite you to feel the cushion beneath you,
Allowing your breath and your awareness to lead as one,
Together as they unite throughout your body,
Helping you relax and rest with ease.
Just for you,
Where you're slowly drifting off,
Ready to sleep,
But enjoying the stillness,
The fact that there is no one you have to be right now besides yourself.
You're so free to show up authentically you,
And it's okay to rest now.
You don't need to do anything besides be,
Be yourself in this moment.
Connecting with each inhale and each exhale,
Slowly drift into sleep.
You are so relaxed,
You're comfortable,
You are cozy,
And you are enjoying this moment of stillness.
Keep falling and falling and falling.
You know that you're safe.
You're ready to drift off.
Keep easing yourself into rest.
I'll let you enjoy this moment,
These moments of stillness and connection to yourself.
I hope you sleep well.
Good night.
