The Heart Chakra,
The heart of you.
Your heart dances in the center of your chest.
Its magnetic power helps you create and get rest.
Compassion,
Forgiveness,
Love,
And even fear reside in this vessel of light you can hear.
In your heart,
Allow a new energy to rise.
The magnetic waves will be deep in your heart,
Your heart that has eyes.
We sometimes forget about our heart,
Don't we?
We forget that our heart remembers.
Our heart has a memory,
A digestive system.
Our heart has walls.
Our heart has truth.
Do you listen to your truth?
Do you receive or do you just give and give and give?
Or do you take and take and take?
Do you listen to the memory of your heart?
This meditation is a forgiveness meditation.
It's a beautiful opportunity for you to release anything that you're holding onto in your heart.
So please find a comfortable lying down position.
You may choose to come into a yoga pose if that's part of your practice in your life.
You could come into supta baddha konasana,
Soles of the feet together,
Laying down.
Or you could come into shavasana,
Laying down with your hands open.
Or simply lay down on a couch.
I'm going to ask you to find a place to lay down that's not where you sleep.
You want to be wakeful yet relaxed for this meditation.
Find your space and then we'll begin.
Close your eyes and breathe.
Drop in.
Allow your face to soften,
Your ears to relax.
Allow your teeth to separate,
Your tongue to rest gently on the floor of your mouth.
Allow your back to just sink into the floor,
The couch,
Wherever you're laying.
Allow yourself to let go.
Let go of the weight of your head,
Your neck.
Relax your shoulders,
Your elbows,
Your arms,
Your hands,
Your fingers,
Your fingertips.
Feel your back,
Your ribs deepen,
Your legs restful and heavy,
Your feet grounded and floating.
Breathe into the center of your chest.
Take four deep rhythmic breaths and I want you to imagine you're standing at the top of a spiral staircase and you're slowly going to walk down this staircase into the room of your heart.

You step out into this room in your heart.
Is your room carpeted?
Is it stone?
Is it wood?
Look around the room in your heart.
There's walls in your heart and on these walls are pictures of loved ones,
Of friends,
Of vacations,
Of memories.
Just breathe in all of the memories you hold in your heart.
See them there.
Breathe in all the positive energy that you see.
Hold it in your heart.
Let it buzz through your cells.
Let it crack open your joy.
You see a broom in the corner and you start to sweep or vacuum the room,
Whatever you prefer.
And as you do,
You might find things that have been hanging out in your heart that don't belong there.
Maybe there was a conversation that you haven't been able to let go of.
Perhaps there was a loss that is very hard on your heart.
For some reason,
You feel responsible,
But you are not.
Whatever these things are in your heart that you've held on to,
Anger at yourself,
Anger at others,
Fear,
Insecurities,
Take all of them and pull them together.
Maybe it's a picture,
A word,
A phrase.
And suddenly,
In the room of your heart,
A beautiful big box drops down slowly.
It's for you to clean out the room in your heart,
Slowly start to place each object,
Word,
Name,
Situation,
Event,
Fear,
Insecurity.
Put that into your heart box.
Just let it drop in there.
The box is as big or small as you'd like it to be.
Use your imagination to actually lift up these things and place them gently in this box.
Make sure that anything that you're holding on to,
Anger toward yourself,
Resentment toward yourself,
Put that in the box as well.
Sweep it all in.
And as you put all of these things in the box,
The box slowly closes.
And now a beautiful,
Bright,
Translucent light with yellows,
Pinks,
Greens,
Blue,
And tangerine,
And teal,
Comes shining down from the ceiling of your heart.
And these waves of energy start to sweep through your heart,
Just letting go of anything your holding on to.
Allow the vibrations of this light to illuminate your heart,
To return it to its pure,
Innocent place.
Return your heart to compassion,
Grace,
And love.
Slowly the box begins to lift as if by magic,
Lifting up out of the room in your heart.
And as it lifts,
You start to feel lighter and brighter.
You just allow these old wounds and worries,
These old things to rise up out of your heart,
All the way up.
And then they're pulled right out like a string,
And you breathe,
And you breathe deeply,
And you breathe completely.
You thank your heart for being so brave.
Thank yourself for being here on this planet,
On this plane,
For having the human experience.
You thank your heart for its magnetic potential.
And seeing the newness in your heart,
And feeling the aliveness in your chest,
You leave the room in your heart and slowly walk back up the staircase,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight,
Nine,
Ten,
Eleven.
When you are here,
Where you begin,
When you're ready,
Slowly and gently open your eyes.
Be gentle as you go back into the world,
And always,
Always honor your pure heart.
And remember,
Your heart says to you every day,
I love you,
I love you,
I love you.
