Deep inside is the ocean of the mind,
A mirror to reflect the face of consciousness,
Crashing on the surface tumultuous waves of thoughts and desires.
The reflection of the light is fragmented and scattered by the waves.
As thought waves subside in meditation,
The reflection becomes clearer.
Eventually only the gentle ripples of the mantra remain,
Until they too melt into stillness.
Then what we see when we look into the mind is the pure reflection of our divine consciousness,
The ocean of light without any shore,
And we are that light.
