
Mindful Breathing For Ages 9–11 - Simple Short Fun
This mindful breathing meditation is designed for children aged 9–11 who are ready to develop greater emotional awareness, focus, and self-calming skills. Through steady, guided breathing and simple body awareness, children learn how to slow down their thoughts, settle their nervous system, and recognise what calm feels like from the inside. The tone is slightly more independent, encouraging confidence and self-trust as they practise. After the meditation, children may wish to reflect through writing or drawing. If you have a younger child, you may also enjoy the Mindful Breathing meditation created for ages 4–8, which introduces these skills in a more playful way. Practised regularly, this gentle breathing work can help children build lasting calm, clarity, and confidence.
