
Mindful Breathing For Children Ages 9–11
By nine, children start noticing their own minds — the worry spiral before a test, the overwhelm when things feel like too much, the difficulty switching off at night. This short breathing meditation gives children aged 9–11 a simple tool to come back to themselves when those moments arrive. Through guided breathing and gentle body awareness, they'll learn what calm feels like from the inside — and how to find their way back on their own. The tone is warm but more independent than younger children's practices, encouraging quiet self-trust. Some children enjoy writing or drawing afterwards.
