Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.
Allow yourself to relax and let go of any tension.
Let's begin by taking a few moments to relax.
Breathe in deeply through your nose filling your lungs with air.
Hold it for a moment and then slowly exhale through your mouth.
Let's do this three more times.
Breathe in deeply.
Hold.
And exhale slowly.
Again.
Breathe in.
Hold.
Hold.
And exhale.
One more time.
Breathe in.
Hold.
And exhale.
Feel your body relaxing more with each breath.
Allow any tension to melt away leaving you calm and at ease.
Now imagine yourself in a peaceful serene place.
This could be a quiet beach,
A lush forest,
A cozy room or any place where you feel completely at peace.
Take a moment to picture this.
This beautiful place in your mind.
As you settle into this peaceful place.
Imagine a warm gentle light surrounding you.
This light is filled with love,
Acceptance and understanding.
It wraps around you comforting and protecting you.
In this safe and loving space take a moment to connect with your true self.
Your true self is the part of you that is genuine,
Authentic and uniquely you.
It is the part of you that is free from fear,
Doubt and external expectations.
As you breathe in,
Imagine inhaling this warm loving light.
Feel it filling your body,
Touching every part of you and illuminating your true self.
With each exhale,
Release any doubts,
Fears or negative thoughts that may be holding you back.
Now let's repeat some affirmations to reinforce your connection with your true self.
You can say these silently in your mind or out loud if you prefer.
I am enough just as I am.
I embrace my true self with love and acceptance.
I let go of fear and doubt and I trust in my inner strength.
I am worthy of love,
Respect and happiness.
I honor my authentic self and live true to my true self.
To who I am.
Take a few moments to reflect on these affirmations.
Feel the truth of these words resonating deep within you.
Know that you are unique,
Valuable and worthy just as you are.
As we come to the end of this meditation,
Take a few deep breaths.
Breathe in the love and acceptance that surrounds you and breathe out any remaining tension or negativity.
When you feel ready,
Gently bring your awareness back to the present moment.
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
Stretch if you need to and slowly open your eyes.
Take a moment to notice how you feel.
Carry this sense of peace and authenticity with you throughout your day and remember that you are always worthy of love and acceptance just as you are.
