Welcome in this relaxing space.
Today's meditation will be focused on gratitude,
Cultivating the space of gratitude and appreciation within,
Connecting to the energy of peace and through that relaxing more so you can wind down gently with a grateful and happy heart.
Make yourself comfortable,
You can sit down but you can also lie down if that feels more comfortable at the moment.
Make sure you're warm and cosy and that nothing will distract you.
Then when you're ready slowly close your eyes.
Start observing your breath,
Noticing the natural flow of your breath as you inhale when your belly,
Your chest expand and as you exhale when your chest and belly relax.
Let the breath help you connect to this present moment,
Leaving away all the thoughts about what happened today and what's your planning for tomorrow.
Now is the time only for yourself,
For self-care and gratitude.
And just know that you are safe here,
This is your safe space.
Notice how is your body feeling now,
Do you feel any tension in your legs,
In your back,
In your shoulders,
In your neck?
As you are slowly scanning your body,
If you notice any tension,
Use a deep exhale to help you release that tension.
So slowly inhaling through the nose,
Bringing in more peace and exhaling let the breath help you melt down any stiffness,
Any tension or heaviness within.
And as you're relaxing more and more through this breath bring your attention to your heart space now,
Feel your heartbeat,
Notice the gentle movement of the chest as you keep breathing and feel the presence of love within,
The love that is always here for you,
Always supporting you.
And as you stay in the space of your heart,
Remind yourself three things that you are grateful for here and now.
It can be things,
It can be people,
It can be situations,
Whatever comes to your mind right now without trying to look for it.
Connect first to the energy of love and then to gratitude for what you already have here and now,
For what you're already experiencing.
And now just let this energy of gratitude and appreciation to be present in your heart and then to expand more and more,
Expanding through your heart,
Expanding through your body,
Expanding through your energy field,
Expanding up to the sky and all around you.
This gratitude keeps growing and expanding like a beautiful ocean,
The ocean of gratitude and appreciation and you are just a little drop in this ocean.
This ocean is connecting you to all the living beings,
To all the nature,
You're just floating on top of it,
You are supported,
You are connected,
You are held.
Any worries,
Any fears,
Any stress of the day is just melting away and disappearing in this ocean of love and gratitude.
Knowing that the power of love,
The power of pure gratitude coming from the heart is so much more than any fear,
Is so much stronger than any stress and any worry.
You are loved,
You are one with all.
So give thanks and appreciate this precious gift of life,
This precious gift of another day with acceptance,
With detachment,
With trust,
Surrender to this natural flow of the ocean,
Natural flow of the gratitude in your life and let it hold you,
Let it elevate you,
Let it keep you safe and grounded.
Keep relaxing more and more,
Totally surrendering to the surface underneath you and slowly getting ready for a restful sleep.
