Hello and welcome.

In this meditation we're going to work at manifesting confidence in whatever craft,

Whatever pursuit you undertake.

So first of all just getting into a comfortable seated meditation posture or a lying down is okay too.

Taking a moment to settle your body,

Relax your feet and your legs,

Your hips,

Your buttocks,

Your lower back,

Middle back and upper back sinking towards the floor,

Shoulders relaxed sinking towards the floor.

Resting the tip of the tongue on the top of the mouth just behind the front teeth.

If you can breathing in through the nose,

Two,

Three and breathing out through the nose,

Three,

Four,

Breathing in,

Two,

Three,

Breathing out,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Breathing in,

Two,

Three and breathing out,

Two,

Three,

Four.

So continue with this style of breath,

A slightly longer exhalation breath than inhalation breath.

And this helps us to steady our mental bodies,

To steady and calm the emotional bodies.

Now I want you to bring to the mind's eye something that you're naturally good at,

What comes easy to you.

Notice how effortless it is,

How confident you feel about undertaking the task.

You've done it so many times before and you're really good at it too.

It feels good.

Notice that feeling in your body,

Sense of confidence and ease.

Now I want you to bring to the mind's eye something that you wish to work on,

Something that you're learning,

Something you want to get good at.

And see if you can apply the same emotional tone to this new task.

What would it feel like to feel confident doing that?

Feeling expected that it would come easily to you,

That you already know it,

You've done it many times before.

And imagining yourself doing the task in this atmosphere,

This emotional atmosphere.

Use your breath to steady your emotions.

Inhale together,

Two,

Three.

And exhale together,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Inhale together,

Two,

Three.

And exhale together,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Now using your breath,

Imagine a white sphere of light in front of you.

And as you breathe,

Breathing in the light emanating from this pure white sphere,

A healing sphere.

The light is cooling and nourishing,

Allowing this light to enter your breath,

Down your oesophagus,

Into your lungs,

Feeling your body expand as you allow it into the body,

Filling the body with nourishing,

Cooling light.

Allowing this light move down through the torso,

Down to the hips,

Feeling the bowl of the pelvis with warmth,

With stability,

With power.

Allowing the light breath to move down to the legs,

Knees,

Into the feet,

Emanating a glow,

Sensing a glowing force filling up your body.

Feeling with it a sense of confidence,

Of calm,

Of strength,

Of power,

Feeling grounded,

Feeling centered.

Allowing the light to fill your arms,

Your hands,

And then up into the neck,

The face,

The jaw,

Filling the eyes,

Left eye,

Right eye,

The forehead,

And the brain,

Filling the body with the light,

Soothing,

Calming force.

Feeling the cells of the body rejuvenating,

Regenerating,

Electrifying,

Harmonizing.

Allowing the body to feel harmonized,

The breath,

The brain,

The heart,

To harmonize with each other,

Finding a sense of calmness.

And as you go on to your day,

Maintaining this sense of calmness,

Sense of confidence,

And if you get to that task,

The new task at hand,

Feeling a strength of knowingness of this task,

Applying the emotional atmosphere of confidence,

Like you expect it to go well,

Like you've done it a thousand times before.

And when you're ready,

Coming back to the room with a sense of aliveness,

When you're ready,

Open your eyes and go about your day.

Namaste.
