Hello and welcome.

In this meditation we're going to be focusing on feeling safe.

So when you're ready,

Get yourself comfortable and gently closing down your eyes.

Taking in a slow deep breath.

And as you exhale,

Allow the body to relax,

To soften.

And again,

Take another in-breath.

And with your next exhale breath,

Doubling the relaxation in the body.

Take one more in-breath.

And as you exhale,

Noticing your body become ten times more relaxed and more at ease.

Now as the body has softened,

Allow yourself to use your imagination,

Just a little bit.

To think of the most comfortable and safest place that you can imagine.

Maybe you picture your home or a spot that you visit in order to feel safe.

You can also just make one up in your mind if you don't have a space like this.

So just take a moment now to look around this safe place.

What does it look like?

What are the colors that you see?

What are the textures,

The sounds?

Are there any soft,

Comfortable pillows or are you outside on some comfy green grass?

You can really allow your imagination to do all of the work here.

To help you picture the details of this safe place.

You can even think about how it would smell and what the temperature is like.

Is there music or birds chirping?

Use all your senses to create this comfortable,

Safe space for yourself.

So whenever you feel scared or worried throughout the day,

You can always close your eyes and come back to this place.

You always have this safe space in your mind whenever you need it.

Taking a few more breaths here,

Allowing yourself to breathe in the fresh atmosphere in your safe place.

Filling your body and your mind.

And when you're ready,

You can let the image slowly fade and let your eyes come to open.

Becoming more aware of the space that you're in.

And that is the end of meditation,

Feeling safe.

Thank you.
