Learn to let go through this simple and profound meditation. Anxiety and worry can be viewed as simply an energy that is "stuck" in the body. With this practice, you will learn how to release and let go of this energy. When the energy is allowed to be released, the mind quickly calms and become quiet.

Okay,

So just noticing how you feel in this moment.

It's helpful to just notice your body.

Notice any tension you're holding,

Maybe in the stomach or the solar plexus.

This tends to be what we call the feeling center,

The solar plexus in the heart.

Just noticing how you feel in those areas.

And we're not trying to change it.

It's important to understand.

We're just simply seeing if we can allow ourselves to feel it.

Can you welcome this feeling,

Whatever feeling it is?

Can you just allow it to be here as best as you can?

And now,

Is it possible to let this go?

To let this feeling go as best as you can?

Now the answer can be a yes,

It can be a no.

It can also split out into various stories.

Try to keep your answer simple and it may change,

It will change over time.

So again,

Is it possible to let this go?

And if it was possible,

Would you let it go?

Are you willing,

Honestly,

To let this go if you could?

And when would you do that?

Good.

And then we go back and again,

Just noticing how you're feeling,

Noticing the feeling centers in your body.

And just allowing whatever feeling is there to be here.

Welcoming that feeling,

Uneasiness,

Anxiety,

Sadness,

Anger,

Pride,

Whatever it is.

Just allow it to be here as best as you can.

And now,

Is it possible to let this feeling go?

It's just a feeling,

Isn't it?

So is it possible to let this feeling go as best as you can in this moment?

And in this moment,

If you could let it go,

Would you let it go?

And when would you let that go?

Good.

And again,

Just checking in,

Going back to the original state,

The original feeling,

Just noticing now how you feel,

Tuning into your body,

Noticing if there's any feeling in the feeling centers.

You can even close your eyes and notice any images that might be coming up.

And just allow whatever you're experiencing to be here.

We're not trying to understand it.

We don't have to explain it.

We're not suppressing it.

We're not avoiding it.

We're not expressing it.

We're just allowing it to be here.

So as best you can,

Just allow it to be here.

Welcome it.

And now,

As best as you can,

Can you let this feeling go?

As best as you can,

Just in this moment,

Could you let it go?

And if so,

Would you let it go?

Honestly?

And would you let it go just in this moment?

You could pick it up later again if you wanted to take it back.

That's up to you.

But in this moment,

Would you be willing to let that feeling go?

And when would you be willing to do that?

Good.

And now we'll do one more.

This time,

I want you to become aware of your day,

The day ahead of you or the night ahead of you,

Wherever you're at in your particular day.

And I want you to notice if you have any feelings about the future of your day.

Is there any apprehension?

Is there any fear?

Is there any dread around what the mind has planned for the rest of your day?

And just notice how you feel about that.

Let yourself feel those feelings.

You can close your eyes and let your mind flicker through the different scenarios or the different events that are coming up,

The plans.

And just allow yourself to feel it.

Feel any uneasiness,

Maybe feel excitement.

Allow yourself to feel whatever you're feeling.

And see now if you can let some of this go.

Is it possible to let this feeling go?

And if it was possible,

Would you let it go?

And when would you do that?

Good.

And let's just do one more.

So let's go back again,

Noticing any feelings you have about the rest of your day that's ahead of you.

Tonight or today,

The plans that you've got,

And is there any feeling around this?

Any feelings of apprehension,

Fear?

And just let yourself feel it.

Now could you let this feeling go?

As best as you can.

And if you could,

Would you?

And when?

Good.

And now just allow yourself to rest.
