Intense setting is a technique that harnesses the innate power of the human mind.
To shape one's experiences through focused and unwavering intent.
Like an arrow,
Aimed at a very specific source.

It can be thought of as a ritual of mental alignment.
A deliberate act of signaling readiness to oneself.
Readiness to embark on a journey.
In this specific case,
A journey into the astral realm.
