Welcome to this guided sleep meditation where you will fall into a deep and restful sleep effortlessly,

And in the morning you will wake up feeling rested and rejuvenated.

In this recording,

I will guide you into a deep state of relaxation followed by a visualization and ending in wonderful affirmations for sleep.

You may use this recording at night before sleep or during the day when you want to take a nap.

Having a good night's sleep is very important for the health of your body and mind.

Good sleep improves our productivity and it also improves our concentration.

We can experience an increase in performance when we get good sleep.

It can enhance our memory and improve our problem solving skills.

It affects our physical strength and stamina and helps to regulate our metabolism.

It improves our mental health and keeps our immune system functioning at its maximum capacity.

A good night's sleep affects our emotions and how we get along with others,

But what is also important is the ability to relax.

There are many benefits of relaxation and learning to control our breath will help the body take in more oxygen,

Learning to relax helps to decrease insomnia and it reduces pain.

Good sleep and relaxation go together.

Other things that can help you sleep better include putting away all electronics and not staring at cell phone or computer screens a couple of hours before sleep.

You might also adjust your diet a little bit and not eat heavy meals late at night winding down for the evening by taking a bath or reading a book under the dim light or candles.

It can also help with falling asleep.

Try to create a ritual around sleeping so that your mind and body know when it's time to unwind and let go.

And now it's time for you to relax.

Now close your eyes and begin focusing on your breath.

Take a deep breath in,

Letting the air fill your tummy and exhale.

Allow your breathing to settle into its natural rhythm as you prepare yourself to rest.

No matter what sort of day you've had,

This is a moment that you have all to yourself and you give yourself permission to let go and unwind.

You deserve to rest and feel your mind releasing any stressful thoughts or tensions that you may have accumulated throughout your day.

You can visualize your thoughts floating by like passing clouds as your body begins to settle into your cozy bed.

You are safe and ready to relax deeply.

Know that you can at any time wake up in case you need to and you are completely in control.

Now,

Focusing on the natural rhythm of your breath,

Visualize yourself inhaling light and exhaling tension.

Your body is your temple and so is your mind.

And during this relaxation,

You are reclaiming your space,

Your personal space.

You begin to feel this wave of relaxation starting with a warm and soothing soft feeling on your scalp.

And it begins to move down to your forehead and temples,

Letting this wave of any color that you choose linger and move through your head,

Through all the muscles,

Relaxing them.

And then this energy moves toward your eyes.

We use our eyes,

Our sight all day long.

And you are now enjoying this moment where you don't have to look at anything.

Let your mind take over and allow the muscles around your eyes to relax,

Allowing this colorful wave of relaxation to dance around your eyes.

And letting it go down to your cheekbones,

Relaxing your cheek muscles.

Your face is feeling nice and relaxed.

And all the muscles around your nose and mouth and chin have softened and your jaw is slowly letting go into a relaxed position.

We speak all day and now is the moment to enter a neutral state of being.

You can let go of all facial expressions.

This is just you and your relaxation.

Now allow this colorful wave of energy,

This warm and soothing energy,

Move down your throat and into your shoulders.

The shoulder is a place that holds tension and you allow this energy to soften and let it go.

Let go of anything that might have been held and stored in your neck and shoulders,

Allowing the light to travel back and forth,

Allowing the wave to flow as it soothes and softens.

Your shoulders feel so much better now,

So relaxed,

And you're finding yourself resting during this process.

Now bring your awareness into your chest and as the light enters and fills your chest,

It amplifies as it fills your heart space and all the muscles around your chest.

You take a deep breath and exhale such a calm and peaceful feeling.

You can feel it all the way through your upper back,

Soothing,

Softening.

When the wave moves down to your belly,

You feel all your abdominal muscles letting go and relaxing.

Allow your stomach to expand.

If you're holding any emotions around your abdominals,

Now is the time to let it go.

Release.

Relax.

This is your moment with your body and your rest,

Clearing yourself from any worries,

Any tension,

Any thoughts,

And any feelings,

Letting the relaxation take over completely.

And now this healing wave of relaxation,

This warmth travels down your hips and into your pelvic area,

Relaxing your buttocks,

Muscles,

Relaxing everything.

Moving down to your upper thighs,

Relaxing your legs and your knees,

Down to your calves and your ankles,

Into your feet,

Until the tips of your toes,

And it feels so good to rest.

If you have done any walking or exercise today,

Allow your muscles to let go and relax.

These wonderful legs that take you everywhere,

And a moment of gratitude for your body and all its functions,

This beautiful body that is your temple,

This wonderful body that serves you in the most amazing ways,

That keeps you nourished,

That allows you to rest and move.

You can say,

Thank you,

Body.

I am grateful for everything you do.

Sending your body love,

Light,

And gratitude.

Now focus back on your breathing.

Imagine you are on a boat that is sailing slowly and smoothly down a calm and beautiful river.

The boat seems to know where it is going,

And you feel safe and comfortable on your seat.

You reach out and touch the cool and silky smooth water with your fingers.

You are enjoying yourself.

When you look back up,

You realize the boat has already arrived to its destination.

You step out of the boat and into the shallow water barefoot.

You feel the soft ground underneath your feet as you make your way out of the water and into the grass.

You look out into the distance and see a spectacular structure or house that you've only seen in your deepest desires and in your dreams.

This is your sacred space,

And you can make it look however you want.

Use your imagination to explore your desires.

It can be anything,

Anything you want.

You notice a trail through the grass leading to your sacred space.

It is a place where you enjoy pure relaxation.

As you walk forward through the trail in this beautiful and peaceful day,

You begin to feel more and more relaxed.

You feel lighter and at peace.

Finally,

You arrive at the entrance of your dream space.

It can be anything you want it to be.

When you walk in and take a long good look at the wonderful view,

Your view,

You are starting to feel sleepy and think it is a perfect time to find that magical room for restful sleep just up the stairs from where you are.

You notice that it is a beautiful staircase,

The kind that you love,

And it is a pleasure to go up these steps that lead to your magical room.

As you walk up the staircase,

I am going to count from 15 to 1,

And when I reach 1,

You will have reached the top,

Feeling completely relaxed.

Feeling relaxed and at peace.

14,

Going deeper and deeper.

13,

Feeling calm and confident.

12,

Feeling safe.

11,

Feeling light.

12,

Going deeper.

Feeling calm.

You are at peace.

Feeling good and relaxed.

Enjoying almost there.

Looking forward to restful sleep.

You are at the top of the staircase,

Feeling calm and peaceful,

Feeling relaxed and you find your door,

The door that leads to the place of your dreams,

To the place where you rest and sleep.

You start to feel drowsy as you walk to the door,

And you are feeling good as you open the door.

It's been a long journey to get here and you are ready to rest and sink into the comfort of your dream bed.

Look around and create what you would love to see in this place of rest,

And all things that inspire comfort and sleep.

You can even slip into something more comfortable if you desire.

Take your time to settle into this happy and restful space.

Everything in this room feels like it's made just for you.

The lighting,

The decor,

The walls,

The furniture,

And the bed is divine.

You know this is a place where you can sleep deeply and peacefully.

And you can take your time.

As you look around,

You begin to feel sleepier and sleepier.

You are more comfortable than you have felt in a very long time.

Now that you have made yourself at home,

You are ready to turn in and go to sleep.

You find a place to lay down.

It can be a bed,

A comfortable sofa,

Or a nice padded carpet.

It's up to you and your creativity and your comfort.

You lay your head on a soft pillow as you drift off into the most magical and restful sleep that you have ever had.

This is your space and you feel so comfortable and at peace.

You feel light and ready to drift off into dreams.

You can feel your body in your bed comfortably resting.

And you can feel your mind comfortably resting in the house of your dreams.

In the space of your dreams.

Now close your eyes and your visualization and allow these wonderful suggestions to seep into your subconscious mind so that you may be able to sleep deeply and restfully every night.

You are ready to relax and drift off into dreams.

Allow these affirmations to sink in.

There is nothing for you to do but rest.

Your body and mind know exactly what to do in order to sleep.

You are feeling peaceful and calm.

Surrounded by comfortable pillows.

Allowing your body to sink into your nice cozy bed.

You feel yourself drifting like a feather,

Floating from side to side.

So deeply relaxed.

Floating even deeper.

You are feeling weightless and comfortable.

You also feel heavy in a good way.

Your arms and legs are feeling heavy and they are sinking.

They are sinking comfortably.

You are sinking deeper and deeper into the softness of your bed.

I am ready to rest and sleep.

Today I did everything that I could.

I did my best.

And there's nothing more that needs to be done.

I am ready for sleep.

I am now in my bed resting my body and my mind.

I am free from stress.

I am free from negativity.

I am feeling positively peaceful and sleepy.

I am feeling calm and serene as I drift off into sleep.

I know that my mind and body know exactly what to do in order for me to sleep.

I just have to let go and allow.

There is nothing I need to do but fall asleep.

And it will happen naturally at its own time.

I feel peaceful and I feel safe.

This moment is mine and for me alone and nobody outside needs me.

I can rest in my own space.

I am grateful for this day and I am grateful for this night.

I am grateful for this space.

And I am enjoying feeling comfortable and safe.

I am letting go of all the tension stored in my body and mind.

I am relaxing my whole body.

Every muscle,

Organ and cell is now deeply relaxed.

Everything comes naturally to everyone.

I sleep easily and effortlessly.

Every night I fall asleep effortlessly.

I have had a long day and I am ready to rest.

It is time to sleep.

It is the end of the day and all I have to do is rest,

Let go and sleep.

I will fall into a deep and healing sleep.

Tomorrow I am going to wake up feeling strong and energized.

I now find it easy to fall asleep.

I will wake up feeling rejuvenated and restored.

I am enjoying this deep state of relaxation.

My body is so comfortable right now in this space.

I feel happy and relaxed.

This moment is perfect.

I am allowing myself to rest.

I slept so good & didn't wake up for the 3am zoomies, or even the 4am & 530am zoomies! I tried to pretend I was still asleep at 7am but they out-catted me, but their first 3 crime sprees did not wake me so maybe I out-catted them? My cats wanted me to tell you they don't know why you hate them, they only wanted to show me how good they chase each other & they will never forgive you for destroying their dreams, but I say Thank You!!
