So close your eyes for a moment and turn your full awareness to what it feels like internally to be you right now.
Just for a moment take your attention inside and see how you are.
You may be hungry or tired,
Bored or anxious,
Worried about something.
You may be curious to see where this is going and you can begin to notice however you feel.
There is a story you're telling yourself about what's happening in your life.
Try to get to the heart of the direct experience of being you.
And with that familiar sense of being you,
That unique sense of being you,
You can choose now to find and invite the familiar and comforting sense of relaxation to gently come back to you.
The feeling that goes beyond the word relax.
Beyond the words that come with a satisfying deep breath.
Beyond the words I'm speaking.
Just beyond the sound of my voice.
Filling the spaces between the words.
The sense that comes naturally when you close your eyes and ease into that familiar comfort.
Just relaxing the muscles around your eyes,
Your cheeks,
Your jaw and just letting your tongue relax in the bottom of your mouth.
Letting go of tension in your neck and shoulders.
And as you soften into this experience,
Just letting it all go.
Just letting this happen.
Now imagine finding yourself on a pleasant and peaceful path.
Slowly and effortlessly walking along in a comfortable,
Natural setting.
Whatever you see or don't see is fine.
In a moment,
Counting down from five,
You can let yourself glide further down into relaxation.
Notice you five,
Continue walking and breathing easily.
Four,
Understanding something wonderful and magical is just ahead.
Three,
Drifting further down the path with nothing to bother you.
Nothing to disturb you.
Nothing to get in your way.
Two,
Relaxing and open to this new experience.
And one,
Stepping from the path into warm sunshine on a field of soft grass.
And just imagine in this peaceful setting,
Looking down at your toes on the soft,
Rich,
Green grass.
In a moment,
You'll begin a magical experience of being released from gravity.
Allow your awareness to take in the grassy field and imagine your body just gently lifting up off the grass.
Look down at your feet as you rise up above the ground,
Weightless.
Rising up into the sunny sky to really see this view unfolding below you.
As you look down past your feet to the ground below,
Your awareness expands,
Rising higher and higher easily and effortlessly.
Looking out now as you rise even further into the sky,
Seeing the expanding patchwork of fields below.
Hold your awareness of the earth falling away from you as you rise further still.
Imagine lifting even higher above mountains and their snow-peaked,
Fluffy clouds and beyond into the cool air high above the planet,
Revealing this magnificent view of glistening oceans sparkling in the sunshine.
The entire earth below you filling your field of vision.
Deep greens and blues brushed with white strokes of cloud hanging above.
Go deeper into this experience and gradually as you ascend further you can see the dark backdrop of space beyond.
Breathing easily,
Seeing the whole earth from space.
Imagine now that you could look back in time and see the generations of people who have lived and died down there.
The children being born and learning to navigate their lives.
Back to ancient Egyptian and Roman families,
Nomadic travelers,
Thousands of generations who have lived before,
All finding moments of love and tenderness.
Moments of fear and worry and moments of surprise and wonder.
Each person born from the earth and returned there.
The same earth born from the suns that died billions of years before,
Scattering particles across the universe,
Still expanding into a billion new suns in a billion galaxies.
You might even sense yourself expanding across this vastness,
Reaching into an experience of coming to understand the entirety of existence.
Notice the sensation of just letting go.
Letting go of self.
Letting go of the voice that says,
I am.
Breathing easily and effortlessly.
Everything is drifting and expanding.
Everything out where I am dissolves into emptiness.
And all that's left is an echo of self.
And spreading further,
The echo dissolves into nothing.
And into everything.
And everything is one.
Just letting this happen.
You are one with everything.
You are one with everything.
In a moment,
You'll return to earth like an arrow shot into the night.
When you do,
You will awaken into a new understanding of your life.
Aim for the sunny spot on the grass as you return in three,
Two,
One.
See your feet again on the grass.
And as only you can,
Understand that life will be better every day in every way.
You are one with everything.
