Sky gazing is a very important practice in the Tibetan Bon Tradition. This beautiful healing practice can be used during those days when things are not going well and there is a lot of stress or when you are experiencing difficult emotions. Connecting with the Space element will help you feel more positive about you and your day.

Hi,

I am Olga Lucia from EQness.

Sky gazing is a very important practice in deduction,

The 9th path in the Tibetan bomb tradition.

It can be used during those days when we feel a lot of stress and strong emotions such as anger,

Fear or worry.

This is a healing practice because when we embrace the qualities of emptiness and openness of the space element,

We become open ourselves and the external and internal influences will have no effect on us because inside ourselves we will have enough room for everything to be there.

When we adopt this attitude of openness,

We become indestructible because we don't let the circumstances around us to dominate us or to dictate how we should feel or how our day will continue.

But consciously and freely we decide that everything is okay no matter if it is positive or negative and we give permission to whatever is present to be there without any resistance.

When we do this,

Our negative experience dissolves.

Whenever you make this practice,

Make it meaningful and powerful,

Truly feeling how your body,

Mind and spirit adopt the qualities of the open and empty sky.

To do this meditation,

Find a place where you have a clear view of the sky.

You don't need to go to a mountain,

Although obviously it's great to do it there,

But you can simply find a window that allows you to see the open sky.

Let's practice.

Sit comfortably in a relaxed way.

Leave your eyes open.

Take your breath to be easy and relaxed.

Allow your body and mind to settle.

Observe the open sky evenly.

Each time you breathe in,

Allow and feel your body,

Mind and spirit absorb the calmness and openness of the sky.

Observe the space in front of you beyond the clouds or the birds passing by.

And each time that you breathe out,

Feel how all those difficult emotions and all tension and negativity dissolve.

When your mind connects with this essence,

It becomes such a space,

Empty,

Fresh and open.

Not being affected by anything because there is enough place to accommodate any positive or negative experience that emerges.

It is there when healing occurs.

When there is space inside ourselves,

There is freedom and joy.

Being connected to the sky in the open space fearlessly allow all experiences to come and go freely,

Avoiding any reactivity.

When you do this,

You become free.

In a moment,

I will ring the bell.

You can finish your practice or stay here,

Being one with the sky,

Being one with the space element,

Until you feel ready to continue with your day.
