Day 12 Forgiveness Sit or lie in a comfortable position,

Placing your hands on your lap,

Palms facing upwards,

Feet firmly on the ground.

Let us begin.

Today's 5 minute meditation is focused on forgiveness.

Forgiveness enables us to have another chance,

To begin again,

To re-evaluate,

Reconsider and modify the goal.

With forgiveness we find love is the way.

Forgiveness is the fragrance that the violet sheds on the heal that has crushed it.

To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you.

When we forgive we improve our health because it leads to healthier relationships,

Improved mental health,

Less anxiety,

Stress and hostility.

It lowers blood pressure.

There are fewer symptoms of depression,

A stronger immune system,

Improved heart health,

Improved self-esteem.

We all make mistakes.

There are some things that are beyond our control.

The challenge to let go,

To see the consequence and to learn from it,

To suffer less.

Take a deep breath in and hold it for 5 seconds.

Release the breath and feel the sense of forgiveness in letting go.

Take another deep breath in,

Holding it for 5 seconds.

And as you release the breath imagine a sense of expansion as you take your perspective beyond the self up above you,

Moving up above yourself and moving out into the sky like a bird in flight.

Open your mind and see the bigger picture.

Feel that sense of openness and freedom like a road trip in the spring,

Summer's breeze on your faces,

You're moving from one reality to another,

The weightlessness of the limbo and the notion of not having to be anywhere.

You are in transition to a stronger self.

As you let go,

Let go of the pain,

Let go of the anger,

Let go of the hurt.

Imagine the potential within yourself,

You are the warrior of intention,

Worry less and allow the mind to rest.

Open your heart.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

I love you.

I thank you.

I thank you.

Catch on to responsibility.

Breathe in confidence,

Love and light and feel your feet firmly planted on the ground.

Come back into your body.

Open your eyes and awaken.
