Inspired by Cory Muscara's guided visualization, this meditation will first ground your body and open you up to your heart space to set the energy for the visualization. You will ask and focus on a question that will lead you to greater clarity of your own inner truth.

For this guided meditation,

We are going to focus on our intuitive faculties through guided visualization.

So,

First I'm going to want you to set the intention for your space for the next 16 minutes.

Letting everything else fall away.

You can start to gently close your eyes if you haven't already or focus it on a spot on the floor.

Tuning in to the rhythm of the breath.

Getting familiar with the body awake.

And either internally noting or verbally speaking out loud the intention we have for this time together.

Now coming back to the breath.

Rise and fall.

Expansion,

Contraction.

Just softly examining.

Bringing a soft curiosity into the body.

Noticing all of the edges of your body and the ground and the seat.

All the ways in which your body connects back to the earth.

Getting curious about the pressure,

The contact,

The connection.

And notice how the breath passes through the heart space.

The in breath and the out breath.

Almost as if the heart is this filtration system for the breath.

Letting the heart imbibe the space where the breath comes in,

Goes out with its own knowing,

With its own wisdom.

Just dropping into that rhythm.

Following the breath as it comes up through and out from the heart.

Channels back in and down.

Up,

Filter out.

In,

Filter down.

And I want to bring you into the imaginative space now.

Where you're in a field,

Walking.

There are some knee high grasses around you.

There is fresh,

Cool.

You're at ease with whatever is coming up for you.

There is a sense of softness in your body as you're walking towards something.

And as you keep walking you start to notice that there are two landmarks right next to each other.

One is this hole on the left and another is a tree on the right.

And you're walking,

Getting closer to these two things.

As you start to get nearer and nearer,

You will have to make a choice.

Do you go down the hole to the left or do you go up the tree to the right?

Typically your first reaction is what one should go to.

So you've chosen now and you're in this new space,

This new territory.

Where are you?

Where is this pole taking you?

Are you being called down,

Down,

Down?

Or are you being drawn upwards?

Whatever it is,

Notice how the mind is taking you somewhere.

Notice what elements appear in your space.

No need to force.

Just letting whatever imaginative qualities come up for you.

Resting in that.

And in this space we're actually going to ask a question.

You can internally ask this or verbally speak it out loud to the space that you're in.

How do I know when I'm grounded in my truth?

So how do I know when I'm grounded in my truth?

Just resting in the silence,

Seeing what emerges,

If anything.

You can keep asking the question into the space,

See what shifts and evolves,

Or just gently allow whatever needs to come up to do so.

Beginning to cultivate sensations in your body as well.

How do these sensations interact with your imaginative space?

Noticing what quality you're bringing to this exercise.

Is it one of pressure,

Of tension,

Of wanting something to happen?

Is it one of curiosity,

Softness,

Dullness?

And just banking the space for what has shown you so far.

And coming back to the field in whatever way that looks like for you.

And for the next few minutes,

I'm going to want you to pick out a specific image,

Visualization element in this space that you were just in.

And hold it in your heart space.

So actually bring that image into your chest area.

Needing it,

Massaging it through your breath.

Letting the breath envelop it,

Soften it.

Coming into closer contact with it.

And noticing what thoughts,

Sensations,

Feelings emerge.

Now you can send this image,

This visual,

This symbol down into the earth.

And thank yourself for taking this time.

Starting to notice the feet on the ground,

The areas in which the body contacts the chair,

The floor,

The earth element.

And when you feel ready to slowly start opening your eyes.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.
